The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) based in Italy, Puglia (Brindisi or Lecce area) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
This position is part of the European Implementation Team and as FAS you will be located in Italy supporting our local and European customers and impacting directly patients health and overall well-being. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Field Applications Specialist Team and report to the Field Application Manager responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical, scientific expertise and troubleshooting. You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. Use critical thinking to resolve application issues, train our customers, verify the operational performance and data quality of systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
•    Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part our culture to develop and grow our teams.
•    Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in keys projects to deliver successful installations for our Customers that meet their requirements and that of our company.
•    Provide excellent professional support and training to Beckman Coulter’s customers.
•    Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, resolve issues to deliver a high-quality Customer Experience.

•    Develop commercial awareness through cross functional support of the business to increase growth opportunities and demonstrate to our Customers our pioneering innovation solutions and new products for the market.
 
The essential requirements of the job include:  
•    University Scientific degree + minimum 1 year of experience in chemical chemistry and immunoassays
•    Fluent in Italian and English. Third European language would be a strong plus.
•    Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.
•    Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
•    Ability to work flexible hours as per the business needs.
 
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
•    Requirement to travel within Italy and the European region (up to 90%, 70% Italy and 20% Europe) to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays (up to 50%) as needed. 
•    Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.


FAS operate independently within their geographic territory; however, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive expert technical support. Classified as remote worker, provided with a company car, mobile phone and laptop.

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be in an international environment, and you will provide second level support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms . You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate. You will apply critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation, train our customers and our Service Engineers, also support our Applications Team and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems in order to supply to our overall commercial organization.

You will operate independently basically in Italian/ Germany territory and in Europe when needed (with overnight required as needed) to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. Of course, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive experienced technical support.

  The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market
  • Early careers are welcome but with troubleshooting experience, gained during Thesis or Internships
  • Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

It would be a plus if you are:

  • Willing to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs.
  • Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problem and find effective solutions.

The Product Specialist is responsible for managing and growing sales in the Region of Lombardy.   The role itself is fully remote.

This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is part of the Italian Sales Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region
  • Organize and participate in local congresses and give product training
  • Observe market and competitor’s activities to influence company sales strategies

The CREDIT SPECIALIST is responsible for Credit Management in its most complete sense i.e. optimizing cash flows, promptly facilitating the resolution of disputes, and making contributions to business development while keeping constant focus on DSO performance.

This position reports to the Senior Emea Credit Manager and is part of the Emea Center of Excellence in Credit Management located in Buccinasco (Milano) and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Credit Management

  • To manage the cash collection procedure to improve cash flow and reduce delays in payments.
  • Release blocked orders in accordance to LBS Credit Policy
  • Investigate disputes, identify root causes and follow up the escalation process

Risk Management

  • Assess credit risk of potential and existing customers and make recommendations of credit limits (new and ongoing)
  • analyze credit data and financial statements

Based on her/his language and professional skills, she/he will be involved to manage a customer portfolio consisting of Public Hospitals, Private Hospitals and Clinics, and Regional Distributors among different Emea’s countries.

The CREDIT SPECIALIST is responsible for Credit Management in its most complete sense i.e. optimizing cash flows, promptly facilitating the resolution of disputes, and making contributions to business development while keeping constant focus on DSO performance.

This position reports to the Senior Emea Credit Manager and is part of the Emea Center of Excellence in Credit Management located in Buccinasco (Milano) and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Credit Management

  • To manage the cash collection procedure to improve cash flow and reduce delays in payments.
  • Release blocked orders in accordance to LBS Credit Policy
  • Investigate disputes, identify root causes and follow up the escalation process

Risk Management

  • Assess credit risk of potential and existing customers and make recommendations of credit limits (new and ongoing)
  • analyze credit data and financial statements

Based on her/his language and professional skills, she/he will be involved to manage a customer portfolio consisting of Public Hospitals, Private Hospitals and Clinics, and Regional Distributors among different Emea’s countries.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, BW
  • good people skills and capability to maintain balanced attitude under stress level

Travel:

  • Availability to travel one a quarter to meet local Team
  • Availability customer visit if needed
