Your role :

To strengthen the Midrange System Unit, we are seeking talented professionals to join the virtualized infrastructure team, specifically within VMware solutions.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve technological and business objectives.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • Design and implement VMware-based solutions to meet business needs.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain VMware systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate VMware solutions with other technologies.
  • Support security efforts to mitigate vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and changes to VMware systems.

Other duties may be assigned as the role expands.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of VMware systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • VMware certifications, experience with Microsoft and Red Hat operating systems, familiarity with other virtualization technologies such as KVM or Nutanix, and knowledge of IT security best practices are advantageous.
