Job Description
- You'll lead all marketing activities for Scalable Capital in Italy, reporting directly to the CMO in Germany and the Italian market lead
- You'll define marketing and growth strategies for the Italian market, and own the budget, channel mix, and KPIs along the entire funnel
- You will set goals in alignment with the leadership team and track results, leading and mentoring a high-performing marketing team while fostering innovation and data-driven decision-making
- You'll oversee campaign planning across all awareness and conversion channels
- You'll develop the most culturally relevant brand in finance in Italy. When Italians think about investing, they should think about Scalable
- You'll ensure compliance with Italian and EU regulations. We strive to be the most trusted brand in finance, and complying with industry rules and regulations is not just a requirement for us—we aim to be best in class
Qualifications
- You have several years of experience in marketing, including some years as a team leader
- You have a track record of scaling consumer tech or fintech brands in a startup, scale-up, and/or an agency or consulting environment in the Italian market
- You master the full funnel: from acquisition to activation to retention, across all channels including brand, performance, content, partnerships, and CRM
- You can balance bold creative bets with a ruthless 80/20 optimization mindset: test, learn, and scale what works
- You can link product, brand, and growth into a single story, combining real creative taste with a mindset focused on fast feedback loops and optimization
- You have an ownership mentality: you make decisions, think long-term, and finish what you start
- You are fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus but not required

Responsibilities- Drive planning, strategy execution, strategic marketing and communications activity for the Division
- Support the division’s growth targets, in a complex and evolving market
- Lead and build a strong team of strategy and marketing professionals, through direct and matrix reporting, project managers
- Drive cross-functional and cross-business partnership to achieve business results. Build and facilitate internal communication plan to align all functions across the Division key initiatives for growth
- Demonstrate and champion core authentic leadership behaviors
Alternatively, we are open to hiring the role based out of a variety of our European offices (office-based, not home-based), providing you are willing to travel to the Birmingham, UK office on a regular (weekly / bi-weekly) basis. In addition, frequent international travel will be required (mainly UK, Europe and US) - up to 50% of working time, including overnight stays.

Who we are looking for / Qualifications- Undergraduate degree in a relevant course of study. MBA and / or additional advanced degree is strongly preferred
- A background in In-vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and / or Lifesciences industries strongly preferred, including experience with equipment & consumables in bioproduction
- You will have led a global marketing team, with experience of the European and US IVD / Lifesciences markets
- You will have a broad Marketing background which may include multi-channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management etc
- Experience with developing and deploying marketing strategy; Able to perform against robust growth targets, considering various metrics and data inputs
- An experienced people leader (managing managers) with strong talent management and people development skills
- Ability to work across a heavily matrixed environment. Effective at interpersonal relationships.
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead short term results concurrent with longer-term strategic achievements
- Executive presence; Strong presentation skills
- Travel : approximately 50% including international travel
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
