We are looking for a Customer and Account Assistant based in Assago (MI) on a temporary contract (6 months).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Gather, check and process all the CN requests.
- Fill in and complete needed reports.
- Enter sales orders in the system for Del Monte Produce sold to Clients attached to Del Monte Italy.
- Check corresponding sales invoices and communicate with invoicing department in Monaco.
- Stock / warehouses reconciliation.
- Check cargo documents received from origin in coordination with Logistic department.
- Coordinate deliveries with customers before dispatch.
- Intrastat reporting and any other reporting needed concerning commercial operations that would be needed in the Regional Office in Monaco.
- Coordinate with the IT team in Monaco, the necessary automation that the current business generates with the products flows (for example EDI implementation).
- Follow and meet reporting deadlines set by Company.
Skills required:
- Minimum 1-year overall experience in customer service / account department.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English.
- Organizational maturity and effectiveness.
- Empowerment and ability to deal with change.
- Able to demonstrate professional competence, both within the company and with external contacts.
- Results orientated with a positive approach.
- Excellent Communication Skills / Proficiency in Computers.

Position OverviewAssist in day-to-day finance operations and is primarily responsible for computing, recording, collecting, analysing and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records of the financial operations of the hotel.
Additionally, responsible for generating bills and collecting all revenue owed to the hotel in an accurate, timely manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
The Accounting Clerk will also be in charge of taking care of the purchasing activities of the Hotel departments.
Responsibilities- Daily bank account control, verify and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Supervision and check in monitoring credit card incoming, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges
- Daily check of Micros receipts and control any discrepancies with opera transactions
- Income Audit: Daily Import files from Opera, Verifying, monitoring, and reviewing all hotel revenues and statistics data reports and night audit reports. Ensuring that daily revenues and settlements are in balance
- Daily control on Purchase Order vs Invoice before input into the system and also fiscally items quantity control
- Recording supplier’s and corporate’s invoices and verify billing input
- Control Electronic support system to download purchase invoices
- Proven knowledge of Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
