The Technical Support Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to lead our technical support team for Clinical Chemistry diagnostics product lines . This role is critical in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective management of the technical support function. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical device industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in technical support.

You will be a part of the Technical Support and Escalation Team and report to the Senior Manager Technical Support and Escalation responsible for :
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical support specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Develop career paths and growth opportunities for team members.
Monitor the Product Line performances.
Managing and resolving escalated customer issues, coordinating with other departments when necessary.
Support Strategy and Operations:
Develop and implement support strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical support team.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team meets service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction goals.
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, and Product Management to resolve complex technical issues and improve product quality.
Support new products and reagents introduction cascading the right information to local team of application engineers
Customer Support:
Oversee the timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries and technical issues
Handle escalated customer issues and provide hands-on support when necessary.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a customer-centric approach and delivering exceptional service.
Support Sales during customer visits to explain Service and Application performances and action plan when critical issues have been raised.
Quality and Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of support services.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
Solid experience in technical support, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong background in the diagnostics industry, with knowledge of diagnostic instruments, assays, and related technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Fluent English

Job Summary:

The Product Sales Specialist Clinical IT for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for planning, developing, implementing all the activities related to the Clinical IT solutions.
This position is part of the Solution Design team located in Italy and will be fully remote . At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Clinical IT team and report to the Clinical IT Manager responsible for coordinating both upstream (the product) and downstream (the go to market) sales, marketing, project management areas and consulting post-sales activities for the Beckman Coulter Clinical IT portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the healthcare IT landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with healthcare professionals and IT departments. Present compelling product demonstrations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, customer support, and professional services, to ensure seamless customer experience from pre-sales to post-implementation.
- Manage any issues that may arise during the project's implementation and identify the corrective actions necessary to complete it in the required timeline.
- Build and preserve relationships with customers through constant follow-up to understand their needs and meet them through the adoption of targeted solutions to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted consultant for the costumers for the Clinical IT solutions. Sharing new ideas on possible improvements and developments for Clinical-IT products.
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of our clinical IT product portfolio
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in Biomedical engineering or equivalent
- At least 3-years experience in IT solutions for IVD market (e.g. Lab. Middleware, LIS, etc.)
- Customer’s communication and listening attitude
- Fluency in Italian & English
- Ability to work flexible hours as business needs, available to travel 50%-70% of the time.

The BP Filtration Sales Specialist & related consumables Italy is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned territory on products and establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts .
This position reports to the BioProcess Zone Filtration leader – South and Export and is part of the BioProcess Filtration team located in Italy and will be working remotely to cover North and Central Italy territory.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for growth and expansion direct sales and profit
- Focus on growth and find new business opportunities in the assigned territory
- Forecasting the filtration business including recurring business and new one
- Work with research or development department in order to be specified in new target molecules that are in clinical phase
- Support other colleagues selling products not included in your portfolio
Who you are:
- Education: degree in chemistry or biology or equivalent scientific degree
- Years of experience: at least 5 years
- Sales & commercial skills (communication, negotiation, active listening)
- Technical skills (knowledge on pharmaceutical process)
- Fluent English & Italian knowledge
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to travel – at least for 40% of the time, 2-3 days per week could be overnight – territory: North & Central Italy
- Driver license “type B”
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous work experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry (Production or R&D department or QA department)
- Or previous work experience in similar technical commercial roles
