The Product Specialist is responsible for managing and growing sales in the Region of Lombardy.   The role itself is fully remote.

This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is part of the Italian Sales Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region
  • Organize and participate in local congresses and give product training
  • Observe market and competitor’s activities to influence company sales strategies
  • Execute marketing and sales strategies

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine, psychology, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in overall medical device sales experience in the Italian market
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality and the ability to meet quotas and achieve sales targets
  • Basic knowledge of Italian health care system
  • Fluency in Italian; fluent English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • 60% travel primarily domestic with overnight trips required
  • Occasional weekend trips to conferences and meetings

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • Understanding of the breast cancer diagnosis landscape

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be in an international environment, and you will provide second level support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms . You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate. You will apply critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation, train our customers and our Service Engineers, also support our Applications Team and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems in order to supply to our overall commercial organization.

You will operate independently basically in Italian/ Germany territory and in Europe when needed (with overnight required as needed) to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. Of course, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive experienced technical support.

  The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market

  • Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University degree in Biotechnology or Biology OR, in the absence of a degree, several years of client-facing sales experience in the cell and gene therapy industry

  • 5 years sales experience

  • Broad technical understanding in the field of molecular and cell biology, with a clear understanding of biotherapeutics, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vector technologies, CAR-T, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing territory and business development plans which serve to expand the business and generate incremental revenue with new clients

  • Ready and prepared to travel across the geographical area of responsibility to visit current and potential customers, to USA for yearly meetings and trainings when necessary

  • Fluent in English language skills, Spanish & Italian fluency is an advantage

The European Program Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a key role within the implementation team, their primary role will be to develop a Project Management Office for Europe.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and standard work to the regional Project Managers, for the timely and successful deliver of implementation projects on time and within budget.  The PMO will develop solutions that enable a common view and risk assessment of all implementation projects at the European Leadership level. They will share and leverage best practice across the different countries.

The projects will focus on successful implementation of complex strategically important solutions into healthcare laboratories across Europe and cross functional European projects that will deliver continuous improvement solutions for Beckman and our Customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create standard work for planning program design, monitoring progress, resolving issues and applying counter measures using Danaher Business Systems (DBS)
  • Coordinating, chairing and minuting of Program meetings sharing best practice across Europe
  • Measuring and reporting project progress, including the risk management process across Europe
  • Ensure successful internal/external customer events by installing and ensuring compliance to the Danaher Business Systems tools (DBS)
  • Act as an escalation within nominated Programs
  • Travel requirement up to 50%

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Recognized, formal, Program Management Qualification or similar
  • Experienced Program Manager used to handle large, complex program & projects like managing physical installation of products as well as the implementation of services
  • Program & Project governance experience, maintain documentation and records leading through influence with strong ability to operate within a matrix environment
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent communication skills, able to write meeting minutes and strong responses to tender questions
  • Consultative skills, able to handle conflict – Experienced in strategies at both the executive and associate level

The Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills to conduct maintenance, installations and repairs of SCIEX mass specs and related HPLCs.
This position works under close supervision and mentoring of the direct manager, regional specialists and senior engineers within the territory, preferably located in Northern Italy, western part of Lombardia or eastern part of Piemonte. Assigned territory will be mainly Lombardia and Piemonte.
The associate Field Service Engineer needs to learn and develop technical skills to perform high quality maintenance, installations and repair.


Qualifications

  • 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related field (including Istituto Tecnologico Superiore -ITS Academy) and/or equivalent experience on the field

  • Excellent Communications skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with the customer

  • Willingness to travel for customer visits and/or trainings (Driving license B is essential)

  • English & Italian language

The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) based in Italy, Puglia (Brindisi or Lecce area) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
This position is part of the European Implementation Team and as FAS you will be located in Italy supporting our local and European customers and impacting directly patients health and overall well-being. You will be a part of the Field Applications Specialist Team and report to the Field Application Manager responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical, scientific expertise and troubleshooting. Use critical thinking to resolve application issues, train our customers, verify the operational performance and data quality of systems. •    University Scientific degree + minimum 1 year of experience in chemical chemistry and immunoassays
•    Fluent in Italian and English. Third European language would be a strong plus.
•    Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.
•    Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
•    Ability to work flexible hours as per the business needs.
 
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
•    Requirement to travel within Italy and the European region (up to 90%, 70% Italy and 20% Europe) to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays (up to 50%) as needed. 
•    Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.

The Product Specialist is responsible for managing and growing sales in the Region of Lombardy.   The role itself is fully remote.

This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is part of the Italian Sales Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships with existing customers and acquire new customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region
  • Organize and participate in local congresses and give product training
  • Observe market and competitor’s activities to influence company sales strategies
  • Execute marketing and sales strategies

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine, psychology, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in overall medical device sales experience in the Italian market
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality and the ability to meet quotas and achieve sales targets
  • Basic knowledge of Italian health care system
  • Fluency in Italian; fluent English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • 60% travel primarily domestic with overnight trips required
  • Occasional weekend trips to conferences and meetings

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • Understanding of the breast cancer diagnosis landscape

This position is part of the commercial sales team located in Europe and will be fully remote responsible for the Southern Europe region comprising of Spain, Portugal & Italy. You will be a part of the Cell and Gene Therapy Team and report to the Sales Manager - Europe responsible for identifying, developing, managing and retaining revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through the strategic and tactical sales and support of all product and service lines.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify, prospect and close new business opportunities in biotech, pharma, academic and government organizations in the assigned territory, consistently meeting or exceeding, quarterly and yearly key performance metrics and goals

  • Manage opportunity and sales pipeline data in CRM system and utilize the CRM tool to routinely provide accurate and up to date forecasts, delivering visibility to new revenue opportunities, projecting revenue recognition for the quarter and year

  • Understand the clients’ visions, strategies, and organizational structure and communicate their feedback to Product Management and Operations regarding new service opportunities and updates to current products, service and processes that will improve the client experience

  • Deliver presentations to clients on our complete offering at the highest levels within the clients' organization

  • Develop territory and business development plans, adjusting sales strategies and tactical execution plans in order to better generate revenue growth in the assigned territory

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University degree in Biotechnology or Biology OR, in the absence of a degree, several years of client-facing sales experience in the cell and gene therapy industry

  • 5 years sales experience

  • Broad technical understanding in the field of molecular and cell biology, with a clear understanding of biotherapeutics, including nucleic acids, gene editing, DNA plasmids, mRNA therapeutics, viral vector technologies, CAR-T, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing territory and business development plans which serve to expand the business and generate incremental revenue with new clients

  • Ready and prepared to travel across the geographical area of responsibility to visit current and potential customers, to USA for yearly meetings and trainings when necessary

  • Fluent in English language skills, Spanish & Italian fluency is an advantage

The European Program Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a key role within the implementation team, their primary role will be to develop a Project Management Office for Europe.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and standard work to the regional Project Managers, for the timely and successful deliver of implementation projects on time and within budget.  The PMO will develop solutions that enable a common view and risk assessment of all implementation projects at the European Leadership level. They will share and leverage best practice across the different countries.

The projects will focus on successful implementation of complex strategically important solutions into healthcare laboratories across Europe and cross functional European projects that will deliver continuous improvement solutions for Beckman and our Customers.

This position is part of the Customer Care Organization and will be remote within Europe (preference will be given to UK and Italy). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create standard work for planning program design, monitoring progress, resolving issues and applying counter measures using Danaher Business Systems (DBS)
  • Coordinating, chairing and minuting of Program meetings sharing best practice across Europe
  • Measuring and reporting project progress, including the risk management process across Europe
  • Ensure successful internal/external customer events by installing and ensuring compliance to the Danaher Business Systems tools (DBS)
  • Act as an escalation within nominated Programs
  • Travel requirement up to 50%

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Recognized, formal, Program Management Qualification or similar
  • Experienced Program Manager used to handle large, complex program & projects like managing physical installation of products as well as the implementation of services
  • Program & Project governance experience, maintain documentation and records leading through influence with strong ability to operate within a matrix environment
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent communication skills, able to write meeting minutes and strong responses to tender questions
  • Consultative skills, able to handle conflict – Experienced in strategies at both the executive and associate level

It would be a plus if you also:

  • Previous Experience in the Diagnostics Industry or related would be a big plus
