JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to recruit, train, develop and retain a team of sales people and sales managers who are able to attain the sales budgets for the office / branch. This role requires the ability to act as a sales manager, create business opportunities, demonstrate active leadership and motivation skills whilst also fulfilling an operational role in ensuring that a high level of service is provided to our customers.

The role requires a high level of interaction with both internal and external customers to ensure effective business relationships are achieved and maintained. This involves the staff management of personnel including disciplinary or corrective actions as required as well as interaction with suppliers to achieve an effective appreciation of business opportunities and practices. The role has a high level of demand, as the branch manager is measured to an extent on the results of the branch.

What the roles involves:

•To lead & manage a team of sales personnel to achieve monthly and annual sales budgets.

•Manage branch metrics and activity to achieve annual corporate objectives.

•Monitor and measure sales activities within the group and take action to implement change if sales activities are not succeeding.

•Work with the Country Manager / Regional Sales Director on the setting of annual sales budgets.

•Examine all expenses within the group to ensure that correct accounting practices are being maintained.

•Actively participate in the recruitment of new hires, undertaking the key / final stage of the interview process to check the candidate can fulfill the competencies of the job role for which they are applying, and that they are the correct personality fit with the company culture and the branch team.

•Undertake annual and bi-annual appraisals for all direct reports in line with corporate procedure.

•Undertake regular branch communication meetings with all staff (as directed by line management) reviewing both corporate and local objectives and sharing branch performance against the set metrics.

•Support training of the Future Sales Executives, Key Account Managers, Area sales Manages through the medium of the external franchised supplier lines and the internal bespoke courses.

•Ensure links with Technical sales and Supplier Development personnel are maintained at the highest interface. Regularly hold reviews, understand the leading metrics of the demand creation, and funnel management of the branch.

•Undertake account reviews with all personnel to ascertain that sufficient time is being devoted to penetrating the accounts with the greatest growth potential and those that have been penetrated are actively managed in order to achieve continual growth, retention and achievement of personal budgets.

•Develop effective working relationships with all internal customers with an emphasis on the technical, marketing and credit departments.

•Ensure a high level of service by being responsive to the end customers’ needs and maintain strategic business relationships with all focus suppliers.

•Additional projects or duties as management at time may require.

Do you have:

•Previous experience (over three years) within an electronics sales environment preferably including people management responsibility.

•Demonstrable ability to communicate and present information in a professional way.

•Commercially astute, highly organised and self-motivated.

•A comprehensive knowledge of the electronics distribution industry/current market.

•Strategic thinker who is also able to handle tactical operational issues when required.

•Has a clear service ethic and leads by example.

•IT literate and open to learning new software/systems.

La risorsa sarà responsabile della filiale di Roma.

JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to recruit, train, develop and retain a team of sales people and sales managers who are able to attain the sales budgets for the office / branch. This role requires the ability to act as a sales manager, create business opportunities, demonstrate active leadership and motivation skills whilst also fulfilling an operational role in ensuring that a high level of service is provided to our customers.

The role requires a high level of interaction with both internal and external customers to ensure effective business relationships are achieved and maintained. This involves the staff management of personnel including disciplinary or corrective actions as required as well as interaction with suppliers to achieve an effective appreciation of business opportunities and practices. The role has a high level of demand, as the branch manager is measured to an extent on the results of the branch.

What the roles involves:

•To lead & manage a team of sales personnel to achieve monthly and annual sales budgets.

•Manage branch metrics and activity to achieve annual corporate objectives.

•Monitor and measure sales activities within the group and take action to implement change if sales activities are not succeeding.

•Work with the Country Manager / Regional Sales Director on the setting of annual sales budgets.

•Examine all expenses within the group to ensure that correct accounting practices are being maintained.

•Actively participate in the recruitment of new hires, undertaking the key / final stage of the interview process to check the candidate can fulfill the competencies of the job role for which they are applying, and that they are the correct personality fit with the company culture and the branch team.

•Undertake annual and bi-annual appraisals for all direct reports in line with corporate procedure.

•Undertake regular branch communication meetings with all staff (as directed by line management) reviewing both corporate and local objectives and sharing branch performance against the set metrics.

•Support training of the Future Sales Executives, Key Account Managers, Area sales Manages through the medium of the external franchised supplier lines and the internal bespoke courses.

•Ensure links with Technical sales and Supplier Development personnel are maintained at the highest interface. Regularly hold reviews, understand the leading metrics of the demand creation, and funnel management of the branch.

•Undertake account reviews with all personnel to ascertain that sufficient time is being devoted to penetrating the accounts with the greatest growth potential and those that have been penetrated are actively managed in order to achieve continual growth, retention and achievement of personal budgets.

•Develop effective working relationships with all internal customers with an emphasis on the technical, marketing and credit departments.

•Ensure a high level of service by being responsive to the end customers’ needs and maintain strategic business relationships with all focus suppliers.

•Additional projects or duties as management at time may require.

Do you have:

•Previous experience (over three years) within an electronics sales environment preferably including people management responsibility.

•Demonstrable ability to communicate and present information in a professional way.

•Commercially astute, highly organised and self-motivated.

•A comprehensive knowledge of the electronics distribution industry/current market.

•Strategic thinker who is also able to handle tactical operational issues when required.

•Has a clear service ethic and leads by example.

•IT literate and open to learning new software/systems.

Principali Responsabilità

• Coordinare e supervisionare tutte le attività logistiche e di spedizione della filiale, assicurando il rispetto delle tempistiche e degli standard di qualità richiesti dal settore luxury.

• Monitorare le performance operative e implementare strategie di miglioramento continuo.

• Organizzare e ottimizzare le operazioni di stoccaggio, movimentazione merci e gestione delle spedizioni.

• Gestire il budget e ottimizzare le risorse disponibili per massimizzare la redditività della filiale.

• Supervisionare il personale, promuovendo un ambiente di lavoro collaborativo e performante.

• Interfacciarsi con clienti, fornitori e partner logistici, garantendo un elevato livello di servizio e il rispetto degli accordi commerciali.

• Assicurare la conformità alle normative di sicurezza e qualità vigenti nel settore logistico e delle spedizioni.

Competenze Tecniche (Hard Skills)

• Esperienza pregressa di almeno 5 anni in ruoli di responsabilità nella gestione di piattaforme logistiche, preferibilmente nel settore luxury o in contesti a elevata complessità operativa.

• Conoscenza dei principali strumenti di gestione logistica e spedizioni.

• Ottima capacità di leadership e gestione del team.

• Laurea in Economia, Ingegneria Gestionale, Logistica o discipline affini.

• Buona competenza informatica

• Preferibilmente conoscenza scritta e parlata della lingua inglese
