Livello 8A ccnl ANINSEI – Direttore di Centro) La retribuzione, oltre alla RAL fissa di 27K, buoni pasto da 8€/gg ed un sistema welfare di 2k comprende un ottimo sistema incentivante erogato mensilmente in base al fatturato raggiunto. La retribuzione media da aspettarsi in ruolo è di 33K di RGA, aumentabile in base alle performance.

General Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight : Develop and implement a strategic plan, rooted in the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm and informed by the faculty needs assessment survey, that ensures holistic support for faculty professional development in teaching, scholarly work, and career advancement.
- Leadership : Lead the Center for Faculty Development, including hiring, training, and developing professional staff. Foster a mission-centered culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Innovation : Stay current with evidence-based trends to support faculty professional development, evaluating their potential merit and recommending implementation, when appropriate.
- Budgeting : Develop and manage the Center’s budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Fundraising : Identify and pursue potential grant funding for Center activities.
- Relationship Management : Establish and maintain relationships with faculty and campus partners to provide services, including internal marketing of services
Position Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Center, ensuring high-quality professional development for faculty.
- Oversee daily activities, conduct intakes with faculty seeking assistance and refer accordingly.
- Set and maintain high standards for faculty professional development.
- Foster a “one-stop-shop” for faculty professional development by coordinating operations internal to the Center and by partnering with faculty and units across the institution.
- Establish and maintain a Faculty Advisory Council to ensure that the Center continues to address current faculty professional development needs in the areas of teaching, scholarly work, and career advancement.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of support services to align with the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, ensuring that decisions align with faculty needs identified in the needs assessment survey.
- Assess outcomes of programming and adjust accordingly on a regular basis.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff and student workers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, create professional growth plans, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and proactively manage changes in support services, ensuring alignment with the Center’s strategic plan.
- Lead collaborative projects with AJCU partner institutions around Ignatian Pedagogy and the Scholarship of teaching and learning ( SOTL ).
- Participate in fund-raising duties for faculty professional development.
- Develop and deliver faculty professional development opportunities as necessary.
- Coordinate institution-wide faculty professional development gatherings.
- Direct the process for soliciting, vetting and selecting faculty for the faculty excellence awards.
- Marketing and Communication: Communicate Center activities to university stakeholders.
- Communicate faculty participation in Center activities to Deans.
- Perform other duties, as requested.
- A Doctoral degree with an emphasis in higher education, instructional design, human relations, or related field is required. At least 5 years of experience with teaching at the university level.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience with pedagogical development, a history of building and maintaining internal partnerships, and supervisory and administrative skills in higher education.
