Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the implementation of our Claims strategy and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards.

Your New Role

About you

We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in Claims , bringing at least 10 years of experience across various lines and types of claims with a particular focus on Property claims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to investigate and resolve complex claims with minimal leakage.
  • Strong skills in coverage analysis, subrogation, and dispute resolution.
  • Experience managing client and broker relationships, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
  • A collaborative mindset to support underwriting teams and contribute to strategic claims initiatives.
  • A proactive approach to mentoring junior team members and supporting team leadership when needed.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, and the ability to produce detailed management information reports.

Il profilo ricercato entrerà a far parte di un team direzionale specializzato nella gestione dei Sinistri Motor di maggiore complessitàe, relazionandosi quotidianamente con una rete di fiduciari dislocata sull’intero territorio nazionale ed interagendo con agenti/intermediari, assicurati e legali, avrà l’obiettivo di garantire la correttezza del processo di liquidazione nell’ambito delle autonomie liquidative assegnate e nel rispetto delle normative vigenti.

In particolare, sarà incaricato delle seguenti attività:

  • Gestione tecnica dei sinistri motor che, per entità economica di indennizzo o complessità, rientrino nella tipologia RCA Over;
  • Accertamenti istruttori, valutazione della responsabilità, negoziazione e liquidazione;
  • Valutazione periodica delle riserve finalizzata a determinare l'ammontare degli accantonamenti necessari, definendone la adeguatezza e consistenza sulla base dei massimali di polizza;

Requisiti richiesti:

  • Laurea in Giurisprudenza conseguita con ottima votazione finale;
  • Precedente esperienza professionale della durata di almeno 2 anni in attività liquidative sinistri motor (costituisce requisito preferenziale avere maturato esperienza in ambito liquidativo lesioni) acquisita presso studi professionali o compagnie assicurative;
  • Conoscenza approfondita della normativa IVASS, il candidato ideale dovrà saper analizzare le condizioni di polizza ed essere in grado di condurre un’analisi critica degli elaborati peritali;
  • Ottime abilità comunicative, relazionali e di negoziazione;

  3. Readiness to be on a steep learning curve and agile comprehension skills
  4. Ability to work in a team, as well as willingness to make decisions
  5. Very good Italian and English language skills

In addition to the training on-the-job, you will participate in the AIG Academy, a two-year structured development program designed to support and accelerate your strengths and interests. To help you succeed, we make sure you receive above-average remuneration, regardless of your degree. You will be accompanied by a mentor, and you will have the chance to participate in global workshops, master classes, as well as networking events to get to know colleagues from AIG worldwide. What you can expect:
  1. Gaining experience in handling casualty claims: gathering relevant information, analysing, determining the coverage of the claims, assessing liability, etc.
  2. Engaging experts and lawyers where necessary
  3. Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders and brokers, (medical) experts, clients, lawyers, victims or their legal representatives
  4. Working with underwriters, turning claims experience into improved products
  5. Adhering to compliance and claims guidelines and playing an exemplary role towards other team members
  6. Ensuring adherence to best practice procedures for casualty complex claims, consistent with global best practice
What you bring:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree, e.g. in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Administration or comparable (international degree is an advantage), graduated in 2022 or 2023
  2. Initial work experience through internships is an advantage, ideally in the insurance sector
  3. Readiness to be on a steep learning curve and agile comprehension skills
  4. Ability to work in a team, as well as willingness to make decisions
  5. Very good Italian and English language skills
