Overview
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) provides critical Supply Chain, Geospatial, Information and Telecommunications Technologies services and Training to all Secretariat Entities, Peacekeeping and Special Political Missions, Agencies, Funds and Programmes of the UN system worldwide. This position is located in the Supply Chain Service, in support of the Return-Refurbish-Reuse (3R) Program, and reports to the Chief, 3R Program.
Responsibilities- Within delegated authority, the Data Analysis Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
- Contributes to the preparation of reports based on organizational needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
- Assists with the collection and analysis of data as well as preparation of data presentations and reports for information sharing, responding to queries, knowledge management, planning and decision making.
- Supports more senior staff in their work on process improvement mechanisms.
- Contributes to the preparation of data sets, being responsible for the acquisition and initial cleaning of data from primary and secondary data systems, and documents data sets used.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of databases, contributes to data collection projects products, tools and processes to extend the capabilities of client offices.
- Contributes to the identification and analysis of patterns in data sets using various methods.
- Prepares data sets upon request; responds to queries/requests and maintains/updates web pages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience with developing business analytics dashboards is desirable. Experience conducting surveys and analyzing feedback from a wide range of stakeholders on the development and progress of different projects is desirable.

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.
What You'll Do
- Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
- Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
- Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team's dataset roadmap to power Speechify's next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
- Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
- Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

La posizione :
Se deciderai di condividere la tua energia con noi, sarai inserito all’interno dell’Area Marketing, nell’ufficio Customer Insight & Experience,in un contesto aziendale dinamico ed in rapida evoluzione, che si occupa di fornire analisi strutturate sull’andamento della customer base, dei prodotti e dei processi di relazione.
To do list (cosa farai!) :
- Supportare nella raccolta e organizzazione dei dati da fonti interne ed esterne per contribuire alle analisi di marketing e alle decisioni strategiche;
- Contribuire alla preparazione di report periodici e dashboard per il monitoraggio delle performance di campagne e attività commerciali;
- Collaborare con il team Marketing per individuare opportunità di miglioramento basate su dati e tendenze di mercato;
- Affiancare nella configurazione e nell’utilizzo di strumenti di analisi e CRM per facilitare la gestione dei dati;
- Contribuire alla misurazione delle performance commerciali e all’analisi dei comportamenti dei clienti in fase di fornitura, con l’obiettivo di ottimizzare le campagne di marketing Outbound, Digital e la Customer Experience.
Esperienza richiesta (al secoloHard Skills) :
Laurea Triennale / Magistrale in materie Scientifiche, Marketing o Economia;Esperienza di almeno 1 anno in ambito Marketing;Capacità di analisi dei dati ed elaborazione della reportistica;Conoscenza della lingua inglese (livello B2);Conoscenza base di CRM per analisi e delle metriche di performance in ambito Marketing;Ottima padronanza di Excel e PowerPoint;Nice to have : Conoscenza di SQL o di linguaggi per l’analisi dei dati (R, Pyton) Master o corsi in Data Analytics o Digital Marketing.Soft Skills (quelle che preferiamo!) :

Job Purpose
This candidate will be responsible for configuring, testing, validating, and installing data acquisition devices and related hardware on Agricultural Machinery in San Matteo and Zedelgem. This position works closely with Engineering, Test Labs, and Product validation groups to configure these devices and analyze data as per customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Use proprietary software to configure CNH data acquisition (DAQ) devices (Telemaco & Telemaco 2) for various Agricultural Machinery & test cells.
- Configure DAQ devices to collect data from additional sensors (thermocouple, load cells, strain gauge etc.) using CSM Modules, IPEtronik modules etc
- Build/modify existing harnesses to connect the DAQ device and sensors to the specific machinery
- Test them on bench setup or machine and verify for proper configuration and data quality.
- Ship/install the data acquisition devices securely on the machinery. It might require building brackets to have these devices securely installed.
- Write detailed documents showing installation and data downloading procedure
- Download data from data acquisition devices, data conversion, monitoring data quality, transferring data to a CNH server
- Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports on data collected and prepare detailed PPT's of analysis and present it to relevant groups
- Prepare dashboard to support additional data analysis requests from CNH team. It would involve analyzing data (example-performance analysis) using Databricks, PowerBI etc.
- Write technical specs for the development of new functionality, support integration, testing and troubleshooting.
- Work with Engineering, Product Validation team and GPP leaders in San Matteo & Zedelgem in planning for data acquisition and analysis activities.
- Participate in workgroup collecting technical requirements and translating the requirements into functional requirements.
- Ensures the use of engineering standards, methodologies, and global product development processes in engineering team’s daily work
- Fosters an environment that welcomes and encourages new and innovative concepts and product opportunities for improvement
- Share ideas for continuous improvements on the Agricultural products and on best practices for the team (tool, data server, document format)
- Embraces Innovation mindset, encourages new technology and is creative
- Master’s degree in Mechanical / Electronics/ Automotive Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with data acquisition systems.
- Knowledge of CAN protocols.
- Knowledge of Vector tools like CANalyzer
- Knowledge of data analytic tools
- Experience using python scripting
- Proficiency in databricks and Power BI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time
- Fluent in communicating (Italian & English)
- Knowledge of Product Development
- Problem solving and team working attitude
- Testing and validation skills
- Good communication skill (Italian & English)
- Agricultural or Construction Equipment background or relevant experience in off road machinery engineering.
- Strong belief in Team success and experience working with cross functional groups
