Overview
Join to apply for the Junior Renewable Energy Consultant role at Everoze . We are hiring a Junior Renewable Energy Consultant focused on the Italian solar and storage sector. The position is based in Italy with flexibility on location. You will join a growing international team with experience in Wind, Solar, Green Hydrogen and Energy Storage in Europe, supporting local teams on renewable energy projects.
Salary: A competitive basic salary related to your experience, plus pension scheme, annual profit share and route into company ownership.
Location: Milan, Italy. Remote working possible after an initial office-based period.
Hours: Normal office hours with flexibility. Preference for 5 days per week but part-time (minimum 4 days) will be considered.
Role and ResponsibilitiesYour work will be mainly technical and commercial consultancy services to Solar Photovoltaic (PV) projects, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, and hybrid projects. You will advise developers, operators, lenders and investors in the Italian market and support other geographies (Spain, Portugal, France and the UK). Specific activities include:
- Lead technical and commercial due diligence for PV, BESS and hybrid projects/portfolios as project director, project manager or in supporting roles. Include assessment of risks affecting financial models and mitigation measures.
- Assess areas such as land securement, administrative authorisations, environmental constraints, project design, tariff schemes, grid connection, and contracts.
- Conduct solar resource and energy production assessments using state-of-the-art simulation software (including PVsyst modelling) and perform energy loss and uncertainty analyses.
- Construction and operational monitoring; business development to build client relationships and win work.
- Managing multiple projects with internal and external resources; ownership of budget and profitability.
- You are or are motivated to become a senior solar consultant with storage expertise, delivering high-quality work and understanding complex technical and commercial project interactions.
- You share our beliefs in entrepreneurship, partnership and quality; you are open, non-hierarchical, autonomous and client-focused.
- You are comfortable working either as a project manager or as a team member and enjoy shaping your own career.
- Engineering degree, Physics, Mathematics or similar.
- Native or fluent in Italian and English.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in consultancy, including:
- Awareness of technical due diligence processes and review areas for solar PV.
- Ability to determine commercial implications of technical risks for different transactions (equity/debt).
- Understanding of Italian local requirements and country-specific topics (grid, land, environmental, permits) in solar.
- Strong consultancy skills: ability to meet deadlines, work in a team, write clear reports in English, manage multiple tasks, and develop client relationships.
- Willingness to travel as part of project work; self-driven and able to work at a commercial pace.
- Experience in other renewables (storage, hybridisation, wind).
- Owner’s engineering, construction monitoring or asset management experience.
- Experience in Spanish/Portuguese markets or other European markets; additional language skills (Spanish/Portuguese).

Your role
Your work will be mainly technical and commercial consultancy services to solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, Battery Energy Storage System projects and in hybrid projects. Gli esperti di Certimac affiancano le aziende in ogni fase progettuale , dall'analisi dei bisogni al rilascio di rapporti di prova, certificazioni e progetti di R&S.
PosizionePer conto di Certimac, SCR ricerca una figura di Energy Consultant che si occupi della gestione delle commesse sia in prima persona che coordinando il team di lavoro.
In particolare il/la professionista sarà impegnato nelle seguenti attività di pre-sales, operative e di gestione :
- Analizzare i bisogni dell'azienda
- Gestire le commesse in entrata, dalla fase di definizione del progetto alla sua effettiva realizzazione
- Svolgere analisi di contesto, raccogliere dati ed elaborare modelli di diagnosi energetica dei processi industriali con riferimento a Soggetti obbligati (D. Lgs 102/2014 ), Industrie energivore e sistemi di gestione per l’energia (Cfr. ISO 50001 )
- Supportare i clienti nella richiesta di incentivi in campo energetico
- Gestire i contatti e le richieste delle aziende clienti o prospect
- Redigere l'offerta tecnico-economica
Il professionista si occuperà inoltre, in collaborazione con la funzione marketing e con i responsabili delle altre divisioni , di intercettare e promuovere nuove opportunità di business , tramite la definizione e strutturazione dei servizi offerti, anche in relazione ai vari aggiornamenti normativi.
Requisiti- Esperienza tecnica consolidata nel ruolo di Energy Consultant all’interno di società di consulenza (almeno 5 anni di esperienza nel ruolo)
- Ottima conoscenza dei modelli di diagnosi e certificazioni energetiche
- Laurea in ambito tecnico, preferibilmente ingegneria meccanica, energetica o ambientale
- Forte interesse nei confronti dell’Energy Management
- Attitudine allo sviluppo commerciale
- Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese
- Gradita la certificazione EGE ai sensi della norma UNI CEI 11339
