**Job Description**
The Engineering Lead is responsible for planning and managing engineering projects. Specifically, this role involves coordinating, monitoring, and planning the project as well as forecasting its costs and predicting the timelines and deadlines that characterize the individual development phases.
The Engineering Lead has both managerial and engineering responsibilities, drafting executive work plans, defining the budget, managing technical aspects, and coordinating the project team, in particular for sterile department.
Finally, the Engineering Lead contributes to identifying new business opportunities by defining the CAPEX of activities necessary for the engineering of new processes.
SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:
The specific tasks of the Engineering Lead include:
+ **Quotations for new clients** . In identifying new clients and new business opportunities, the EL collaborates with the Business and Technology Transfer functions in formulating the economic proposal. Specifically, it is the responsibility of the EL to define the CAPEX related to the engineering of the new process, especially for sterile departments.
+ **Project planning** . The EL is responsible for identifying the best strategy to implement the project and drafting a detailed work plan of the development phases that compose it (GANTT).
+ **Internal communication** . The EL must provide timely updates on the progress of the project to their Manager through specific reporting.
+ **External communication** . The EL may interact with suppliers, contractors, external entities, or other external figures that may be useful for the completion of the project.
+ **Budget management** . The EL is responsible for managing the project costs. This includes: cost evaluation, CAPEX approval (Capital Expenditure) through the drafting of a CAR (Capital Appropriation Request), monitoring, and controlling expenses.
+ **Project team management** . The EL must coordinate, organize, and monitor the activities of the work group.
+ **Drafting of URS (User Requirements Specification)** . The EL is responsible for drafting the technical reference document that must be prepared for the purchase of equipment and machinery.
+ **Execution of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)/SAT (Site Acceptance Test)/Commissioning.** The EL is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and monitoring the functional tests to validate the design hypotheses listed in the URS.
**Requirements:**

LE TUE RESPONSABILITÀ:
- Supportare la Direzione AreaTecnica nell’individuare e sviluppare gli investimenti necessari, dei Budget e Gantt relativi alla realizzazione di nuovi impianti. Interfaccia con società di ingegneria e supervisore delle attività di installazione, commissioning, certificazione e convalide/qualifiche;
- Coordinamento dei progetti di investimento e dei fornitori coinvolti, nel rispetto delle tempistiche e dei budget di spesa definiti;
- Garantire, in allineamento con HSE, che le attività siano condotte nel rispetto delle normative vigenti in tema di sicurezza, ecologia, protezione ambientale.
- Contribuire al raggiungimento degli obiettivi aziendali in collaborazione con gli altri Dipartimenti della Società, per tutte le attività di propria competenza.
- Contribuire a mantenere i sistemi di certificazione (AIFA, Ministero della Salute, FDA, ANVISA) assicurando il miglioramento continuo per l’area di competenza;
- Stesura delle User Requirement Specification (URS), elaborazione P&Id, dimensionamento di pompe e scambiatori;
- Approvazione dei disegni dei macchine/attrezzature/componenti e dei progetti sottoposti da fornitori esterni;
- Collaborare attivamente all’elaborazione dei piani di manutenzione annuali nel rispetto delle normative di impianto (PED,ATEX,.) vigilate da enti di controllo. Interfaccia tecnica con fornitori per la definizione di capitolati di manutenzione;
- Contribuire attivamente alle attività di validazione e calibrazione della strumentazione/attrezzatura critica ai fini della qualità. Interfaccia con le aree Qualità e Produzione per aspetti GMP riguardanti gli impianti che necessitano dell’implementazione di azioni correttive a seguito di changes e deviazioni. Redigere ed aggiornare le procedure operative standard di pertinenza;
- Partecipare all’analisi delle cause di malfunzionamento o guasto degli impianti e proporre soluzioni efficaci, non limitandosi ad aspetti tecnici ma contribuendo anche al training del personale di produzione;
- Proporre eventuali attività di decomissioning con finalità di razionalizzazione, liberando spazi per promuovere nuove opportunità di sviluppo del sito.
 
I TUOI REQUISITI:
- Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica, Ingegneria Chimica, Ingegneria Industriale o affini.
- Almeno 3-5 anni di esperienza in ruoli simili, preferibilmente in ambito farmaceutico, chimico o industriale.
- Esperienza nella gestione di progetti di investimento e nella supervisione di impianti produttivi.
- Conoscenza pratica della redazione di URS, P&ID, dimensionamento di pompe e scambiatori.
- Capacità di lettura, analisi e approvazione di disegni tecnici e specifiche di macchine e impianti.
- Conoscenza delle normative di sicurezza e ambiente (es. PED, ATEX) e degli standard HSE.
- Esperienza nella gestione della manutenzione industriale e nella definizione di capitolati manutentivi.
- Conoscenza delle attività di validazione, calibrazione e controllo qualità in conformità a GMP.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for Engineering Operations Technician Interns to join our expanding Data Centre team.
As an intern, you will provide technical support support to Amazon within its owned and operated data centres. This position involves ensuring that the data centres mechanical, electrical and plumbing operates at 100% availability while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centres. All interns will be exposed to independent work and in a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Engineering Operations team is Amazon's front-line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations. You will work with equipment that supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, AHU's, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFD's, and building automation systems.
Duties include:
· Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
· Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures
· Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA
· Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment
· Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows
· Interact with third party vendors & contractors who are working on site
Physical Requirements
· Work at heights and from ladders.
· Regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds unassisted and participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.
· Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects.
Amazon internships are full-time (40 hours/week). This position requires the intern to report to work onsite on a daily basis. Intern schedules are typically day schedules, Monday-Friday. A full-time position as a Data Centre Tech involves day, evening, or weekend shifts and on-call rotations.

**Corteva Agriscience** is looking for students or recent graduates interested in internships at our production plants in **Asturias (Spain) and Mozzanica (Italy)** . This unique experience will allow you to learn about two different industrial environments, develop professionally and contribute to real projects in the agro-industrial sector.

**What You'll do (the role)**
**Summary**
Lightsource bp's Commercial Engineering Team provides technical support across all areas of the global organization and for projects being developed across the globe. Contributing to and supporting all areas of Lightsource bp's Commercial Engineering team, focusing on projects in all phases: early development, pre-construction and projects in construction.
**Duties and responsibilities**
+ Focusing on projects in Italy (primarily, but also across EMEA region), support the Project Development process (including Acquisitions), across all technical aspects.
+ Lead the Technical Due Diligence (Acquisition and/or Financing) and manage internal and external service providers.
+ Undertake Energy Yield Assessments (EYA).
+ Undertake LCOE optimisation and analysis for new projects.
+ Support the assessment of new technologies (modules, inverters, structures, wind turbines (WTGs), BESS).
+ Lead the development of Basic Design, including instructing layouts and SLDs.
+ Lead the development of EPC Contract Technical Appendices.
+ Support Project Managers as needed across all technical aspects during construction period, Works Completion, PAC and FAC.
+ Coordinate and manage Technical Advisors (OE, LTA, etc) locally and internationally.
+ Review EPC Contractor bids, reports, orders, etc for compliance with Owner's Requirements and EPC Contract appendices.
+ Undertake site visits to both new greenfield sites and sites under construction.
+ Support on engineering analysis of curtailment, performance evaluation of new technologies, etc.
**Who we're looking for**
**Knowledge**
+ Good knowledge of PV, BESS and Wind generating technologies and constituent components (modules, inverters, structures, trackers, batteries, WTGs, etc).
+ Good knowledge of EPC / O&M contracts, including Technical Appendices.
+ Good understanding of PPAs, Grid Connection Agreements and technical inputs to Financial Models.
+ Knowledge of simulation software including PVsyst and WAsP or similar (AutoCAD, ArcGIS or other Solar, Wind or Battery (BESS) modelling software is a plus).
+ Good knowledge of the main players in the industry (Technical Advisors, investors, EPCs, TSO/DNOs, etc).
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
+ Masters in Renewable Energy or related field preferable.
**Experience**
+ 7+ years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry, on both Solar PV and Wind sectors.
+ Experience/expertise in BESS and Hydrogen technologies is a strong plus.
+ Experience in undertaking Energy Yield Assessment (EYA) and good knowledge of pertinent factors affecting PV, BESS and Wind plant performance.
+ Experience with large-scale Solar PV, BESS and Windfarm projects in the region, working either on the Developer, EPC Contractor, or Technical Advisor side.
