Position

For implementation of the Engineering team at our Head Quarter di Mereto di Tomba (UD), we are seeking an Engineering Project Manager . The resource will collaborate on the technological and infrastructural development of the Group's plants, according to Business needs and in line with strategic objectives. Reporting to the Group Engineering Manager, the role will focus on the Italian facilities with the objective to:

  • gestire e implementare le progettualità in area Manufacturing nel rispetto della qualità, dei tempi e dei costi definiti in fase di pianificazione;
  • gestire i cantieri in tutti gli aspetti, compresi quelli relativi alla sicurezza;
  • identificare direttrici di sviluppo e miglioramento degli asset e dei processi;
  • supportare le altre funzioni aziendali (Maintenance, Quality Assurance, HSE, .) nelle attività day-by-day e durante gli Audit, garantendo il presidio dell’area Engineering.
Requisiti
  • Laurea in ingegneria civile, industriale o similare;
  • Esperienza di almeno 5 anni in realtà strutturate dell’ambito Manufacturing o in Società di Ingegneria, possibilmente nella gestione di progetti complessi e multidisciplinari;
  • Conoscenza fluente della lingua inglese;
  • Capacità di coordinamento di Team multidisciplinari e di delega;
  • Conoscenza di base del project management;
  • Spirito di innovazione, proattività e problem solving;
  • Orientamento al risultato e capacità di lavorare per obiettivi;
  • Leadership, empatia e buone doti comunicative completano il profilo;
  • Elevata flessibilità.

We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager who will guide Technical and Product teams across the Development process for Smart Eyewear wearable devices. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and drive complex projects for smart glasses category. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent project management skills, capable of coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end product development process for projects related to smart glasses.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, product management, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of product development phases.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress, identify risks and issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making across hardware, firmware, software, and industrial design teams.
  • Lead regular project status meetings and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks specific to wearable devices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

  • Use and continually develop leadership skills



  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS project

  • Knowledge of PRIMAVERA is a plus

  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus

  • Project Management Professional (PMP or IPMA) certification is a plus


Languages

English (level C1 certificate or more)

The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
