The Opportunity

You will partner with our Italian Sales team to promote an API-first development culture, nurture customer relationships, and guide Postman users on how to most effectively leverage our platform to build their APIs. Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives and breathes APIs, is comfortable with JavaScript, has experience in corporate sales, and is an expert Postman user already!

In addition to working with a product that customers already know and love, you will be well-supported in this role by our Sales, Customer Success, Developer Relations, and Engineering teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Help drive corporate sales by nurturing prospects and supporting Corporate customers
  • Conduct discovery, qualification, technical demos, and proof of value workshops with prospective customers looking to shift to an API-first development culture
  • Handle Postman technical questions or objections and provide solutions or workarounds to address customer needs
  • Understand deeply our customers workflows today and how they can adopt API-first development best practices
  • Share customer feedback with appropriate teams and provide general customer advocacy
  • Remain up-to-date with the competitive landscape, current trends, and challenges in the API market
  • Create proof of concept integrations, tooling, and workflows as needed to support prospective customers
  • Maintain and develop customer sandbox environments and best practices of working with the product
  • Act as a technical intermediary between sales and other teams to best fit our customers needs
About You
  • 1+ years of corporate sales/solutions engineering experience required
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Customer-facing experience and comfortable engaging all levels of technologists including individual developers, QA, product, and engineering leaders
  • Experience engaging senior management and executive audiences to convey Postman's value proposition
  • Capable of forging deep, long-lasting relationships with Corporate customers
  • Strong understanding of APIs, and experience with producing and consuming with APIs across different domains
  • Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and DevOps with an appreciation of the software development life cycle
  • Comfortable with the enterprise SaaS sales process and common security concerns of cloud services
  • Experience executing enterprise sales strategies and sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, Command of the Message, etc.
  • Excellent listener that seeks to understand what a customer is trying to achieve rather than pre-supposing solutions
  • Familiar with typical developer tooling: IDEs, Git, CI/CD, monitoring services, microservices, containers, cloud computing services, etc.
  • Fast learner, excited and willing to learn new technology on an ongoing basis
  • Loves teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication skills (presentation, verbal and written)
  • Remote work friendly, with the ability to travel

**Overview of the team**

**The Account Executive, Tech Solutions** is responsible to drive sales of IQVIA Technologies portfolio, managing all aspects of sales process in coordination with Engagement Manager and with Key Account Manager, including prospecting, lead management, qualification, client’s presentations’ pitch, proposal design, evaluation and deal closure.

**Accountabilities**
- Managing all aspects of sales process in coordination with Engagement managers and with Key Account managers
- Design and lead new Technology Solutions offering to Italian HQ PharmaCos/Life science Companies
- Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customers’ business needs and explore how IQVIA Technology portfolio can meet them
- Build and maintain close relationships
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics
- Educate and enable the sales team to increase visibility on entire technology offering

**Required Education and Experience**
- MSc preferably in IT, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics
- 6+ years of relevant commercial experience preferably in technology or management consulting firms, ideally for the life sciences industry
- Expertise in BD with a strong record of successful deals
- Proficiency both in English and in local language

**Additional Requirements**
- Entrepreneurial attitude, driver, willingness to take risks with strong hunting skills, but also long-term strategic thinking regarding development of an account
- Hands-on, with strong issue-based consulting and conceptual skills and an ambition for innovation
- Excellent presentation, client influencing and communication skills including public speaking.
- Ability to work collaboratively across complex networks, internally and at the client, and to influence organizations
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Technical Safety Engineer to join our Climate Technology Solutions Engineering team and take ownership of technical safety aspects for New Products Development (NPD) Programs, sponsored across the different Growth Areas of Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage, Hydrogen Production, Clean Power Solution, and Emission Abatement, and their subsequent entire product lifecycle.

Focus will be on hazards evaluations from chemical species (Flammability, Toxicity, Emissions/Effluents) and the management of safety guidelines within innovative process technologies (particularly Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, and e-Fuel production).

As part of the CTS Engineering team, the Principal Technical Safety Engineer will work closely with the Technical and Product Safety Team of the Gas Technology Equipment business unit, adopting standardized frameworks, covering proactive safety practices, incident investigation, and lessons learned to enhance safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and development of safety guidelines for innovative technologies, collaborating with Venture Partners, Suppliers, and Customers.
  • Conduct hazard identification, HAZOP, FMEA, and other risk analyses following standards like IEC61882.
  • Apply Quantitative Risk Assessment techniques such as ASR, QRA, FERA, LOPA, FTA, SIL, and protective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Define applicable regulations and environmental limits for plant emissions and effluents.
  • Support permit application preparations and manage safety documentation, including effluents data, MSDS, noise reports, gas dispersion, hazardous areas, fire safety, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety compliance throughout project phases.
  • Participate in international committees to influence safety standards and incorporate sustainability considerations into safety assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical, Energy, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety or Process Engineer in industrial plant design, operation, or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and directives (e.g., ISO, IEC, EU directives).
  • Experience in risk assessments, HAZOP, and quantitative risk techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with hydrogen, CO2 capture, and energy transition technologies.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with GHG reporting and LCA methodologies.
