Responsabilità

  1. Supportare i team di consulenza e ricerca su questioni di sostenibilità aziendale, di prodotto e di catena di fornitura, inclusa l'analisi della letteratura, raccolta, organizzazione e analisi dei dati sulla sostenibilità.
  2. Reperire dati e statistiche rilevanti per supportare i modelli di calcolo.

Requisiti

  • Competenze in consulenza, gestione di progetti e ricerca sono un plus.
  • Disponibilità a responsabilizzarsi su progetti e KPI.
  • Ottima conoscenza di Excel, Word, PowerPoint e/o Google Workspace.
  • Familiarità con software GHG e LCA.
  • Desiderio di apprendere e migliorare rapidamente.
  • Conoscenza professionale dell'inglese e madrelingua italiana, sia scritto che parlato.

Your new role

As an ESG Consultant, you'll aid in creating a more sustainable future through diverse projects in Italy.

You will be part of part of our successful team composed by engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc. working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk and sustainability. You will contribute to a sustainable future in an open, collaborative and empowering culture.

Your key responsibilities will be:


  • Participate in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) due diligence projects for property acquisitions, mergers, sales and leases.
  • Collaborate on projects related to circular economy, ESG strategies and sustainability reporting and certification (Taxonomy, CSRD, carbon footprint, etc.).
  • Assist in providing strategic ESG advisory to clients both in industrial and finance sector.
  • Assist in providing technical assistance for sustainable solutions to our clients.


About You


  • At least a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, earth science, business administration related to sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • Work experience in environmental, ESG, sustainability and EHS.
  • Professional fluency in Italian and English is required.

DNV, the independent expert in assurance and risk management company, is seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Consultant within our Risk Management Advisory Middle East, Africa, and Southern Europe (MEA & SE) section. You will be based in Milan/Vimercante.

Your proven track record as a social expert and your solid technical understanding perfectly aligns with our commitment to driving sustainability in the ever-evolving energy sector and helping our clients to navigate the diverse energy transition and climate challenges of our time.

As a member of our dedicated ESG team, you will work with customers struggling with the challenges of delivering on climate and broader sustainability expectations. You will be a trusted advisor, helping them make critical strategic decisions in an equitable, transparent, and profitable manner.

As an ESG Consultant you will be:

- Conducting ESG due diligence studies for assets in the energy sector, focusing on the social context.
- Carrying out Social Assessments, Human Rights Impact Assessments, and other social studies according to international standards.
- Creating and delivering ESG Strategies and sustainability programs, including policy and procedures.
- Performing ESG materiality assessments for companies or portfolio level.
- Aiding the implementation of ESG frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure of customers.
- Evaluation of ESG performance of companies in the relevant sectors, focusing on the social context
- Providing key research, analysis and advisory insight and support to our customers.
- Evaluation of stakeholder engagement, social studies, social risk assessment process against international standards.

- Supply Chain risk analysis OECD (Social and Governance).
- ESG Roadmap.
- EU Taxonomy Assessment based on the new Minimum Safeguards Draft Proposal (MS).
- Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, social studies or similar.

DNV, the independent expert in assurance and risk management company, is seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Consultant within our Risk Management Advisory Middle East, Africa, and Southern Europe (MEA & SE) section. You will be based in Milan/Vimercante.

As a member of our dedicated ESG team, you will work with customers struggling with the challenges of delivering on climate and broader sustainability expectations. You will be a trusted advisor, helping them make critical strategic decisions in an equitable, transparent, and profitable manner.

As an ESG Consultant you will be:

- Conducting ESG due diligence studies for assets in the energy sector, focusing on the social context.
- Carrying out Social Assessments, Human Rights Impact Assessments, and other social studies according to international standards.
- Creating and delivering ESG Strategies and sustainability programs, including policy and procedures.
- Performing ESG materiality assessments for companies or portfolio level.
- Aiding the implementation of ESG frameworks and standards, supporting reporting and disclosure of customers.
- Evaluation of ESG performance of companies in the relevant sectors, focusing on the social context
- Providing key research, analysis and advisory insight and support to our customers.
- Evaluation of stakeholder engagement, social studies, social risk assessment process against international standards.

**About you**:

- Demonstrable technical experience of 3 to 6 years, ideally consultancy experience within the sustainability and ESG space including:

- ESG Due Diligence (buyer, vendor, and lenders).
- Social Assessment (IFC, Equator Principles, Stakeholder Engagement, ILO standards, Diversity and Inclusion, with particular focus on Human Rights).
- Supply Chain risk analysis OECD (Social and Governance).
- ESG Roadmap.
- EU Taxonomy Assessment based on the new Minimum Safeguards Draft Proposal (MS).
- Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, social studies or similar.
- Knowledge of sustainable development goals, The Paris Agreement framework, climate change and energy transition frameworks and standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI); Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI); Equator Principles, IFC Standards, ILO Standards, OECD Guidelines, ISO 26000 (Social Responsibility), SA8000, ISO 20400 (Sustainable Procurement), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), etc.
- Excellent report writing, oral communication and presentation skills in both English and Italian (proficiency in Spanish and French is considered a plus).
- Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.

To support the expansion and strengthening of its team in the Rome office, HSPI is looking for a ESG Consultant, with a focus on Sustainability and Gender Equality initiatives.
The selected candidate will support both public and private clients in the development and analysis of gender equality reports, environmental reports, and sustainability reports compliant with CSRD/GRI standards.
They will contribute to data collection, report drafting, regulatory benchmarking, and the definition of measurable improvement strategies.
A previous experience of at least 1 year in the role is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Support in the collection, processing, and analysis of data disaggregated by gender/role/topic;
Collaborate in drafting the gender equality report in accordance with current regulatory guidelines (e.g., UNI/PdR 125:2022);
Contribute to the identification of critical issues and the definition of strategies, measurable objectives, and corrective actions;
Stay updated on regulations and best practices related to gender equality and diversity & inclusion;
Participate in client meetings and perform project management activities.
Technical Requirements:
Degree in Economics, Political Science, Law, Sociology, or related fields;
Interest in and knowledge of ESG topics, particularly gender equality and inclusion;
Ability to independently draft specific sections of sustainability reports compliant with GRI and ESRS standards, with a particular focus on GRI 400 series and ESRS Social and Governance standards;
Analytical and data processing skills using Excel and Power BI.
