THE ROLE

This role supports the development and delivery of ESG strategies solutions that address key challenges of Quantis clients, ensuring that the proposed delivery meets clients’ needs.

As a Sustainability Specialist at Quantis you will:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of client projects in areas such as ESG strategy (both corporate and product-oriented), target setting, materiality assessments, CSRD compliance, sustainability reporting, sustainability communication, stakeholder engagement, marketing and change management solutions for sustainability.
  • Contribute to multiple client projects involving one or more standard offerings
  • Develop productive and comfortable working relationships with client contacts

You will be successful in your role if you:

  • Contribute to building credible, trusted relationships with the project team and client contacts, supporting them from the development of the brief to the elaboration of ESG strategies, ESG data collection and reporting, and the creation of communication and engagement solutions for both internal teams and customers.

  • Collaborating closely with our Branch and Global Communication & Engagement teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Co-developing unique, innovative solutions to address challenges related to sustainability strategies, communication, and engagement—working alongside Consultants, Project Managers, and Strategists.
  • Supporting clients with a strong consulting mindset, from crafting the brief to delivering excellent ESG strategy outputs.
  • Writing compelling stories that translate environmental metrics into impactful communication assets across digital and print media, including presentations, reports, infographics, brochures, and videos.
  • Clearly explaining standard Quantis solutions and their interdependencies in a credible and engaging way.
  • Assisting the project team in guiding clients through the understanding and implementation of sustainability solutions.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to support others and taking initiative to act on them.

**Role Overview**
The Senior Manager of Strategy & M&A will help shape and deliver the Energy BU's growth agenda, driving both organic and inorganic opportunities. You will assess markets, define execution plans, and lead strategic projects, while building and managing a strong M&A pipeline from target identification to transaction execution.
**Key Responsibilitie**
+ Identify high-potential market opportunities ("where to play") and define execution paths ("how to win").
+ Lead cross-functional teams in strategy definition, alignment, and implementation.
+ Track progress on strategic initiatives and ensure delivery of revenue and margin goals.
+ Build and manage the BU's M&A pipeline; evaluate targets, lead due diligence, and coordinate transactions.
+ Maintain market models, competitive intelligence, and industry insights.
+ Mentor junior team members and strengthen strategic capabilities across the BU.
**Your ideal background**
+ Strong background in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.
+ Experience leading cross-functional projects; energy sector experience a plus.
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across cultures.
+ MBA or Master's preferred, but not required.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Corporate Social Responsibility & Internal Communication Manager and in line with the received guidelines, support the implementation of Company’s CSR activities.
All managed activities are aimed to create a positive work environment and shaping a corporate culture, in coherence with Samsung vision and attention to people and to community.

Role and Responsibilities
- In line with the defined activities and plans, provide an effective contribution to the implementation of CSR initiative also through the continuous relationship with CSR stakeholders (Schools, Universities, Central and Local Institutions, etc.);
- Work on the localization of CSR Global projects deploying initiatives in line with the Italian community needs; to this purpose constantly monitor the evolution of the Italian social and political context;
- Cooperate with PR/Social Media in order to properly communicate Samsung values and CSR activities and projects;
- Manage on a regular basis the reporting to HQ programs/initiatives/KPIs;
- Work side by side with Legal Team for the correct definition of terms and condition of the contracts connected with CSR programs. Cooperate with Procurement Department in the management of CSR tenders;

Skills and Qualifications

Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with major in communication;

Prior 2-3 yrs’ experience in similar roles;

Computer knowledge: Excellent MS Office Tools;

Language knowledge: Excellent both written and spoken English;

Excellent communication, relational, networking skills. Emotional intelligence and attention to social topics and needs. Team spirit, creativity, problem solver, willingness to think “out-of-the-box” and to work in a new, evolving area.

Your Growth

You will be based in our Milan or Rome office as part of our Corporate Finance practice.

Our Corporate Finance practice works on engagements across industries, advising clients on top-management level issues including corporate strategy and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, business due diligence, value-based management, ESG strategy and strategy in IPO situations. We close the gap between corporate finance and strategy to have significant impact on the client business and the top-management agenda.

Your Impact

You will work in teams of typically 2-3 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement.

You will combine traditional management consulting skills with issues and techniques of applied corporate finance, playing an important role in leading-edge knowledge development in areas relevant to corporate finance and strategy. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

Your qualifications and skills

  • 3+ years of strategy, corporate finance, M&A or due diligence experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, accounting firm or major corporation; experience in a corporate development or strategic finance is preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and problem-solving mindset

  • Sensitivity on social responsibility and ambition to have a real impact on clients and on our communities
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
