About the roleAs the Sales Manager for North America, you will be the face of Four Seasons Firenze in your territory, building strong, lasting relationships with clients and key accounts. You will promote and sell our offerings through direct phone sales, face-to-face calls, familiarization trips, and participation in events and tradeshows. Your strategic sales efforts will directly impact revenue growth and market share in the ultra-luxury segment.
What You Will Do- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with major accounts to drive business and expand market share.
- Utilize prospecting tools and company-wide sales programs to generate new opportunities.
- Proactively follow up on inquiries and qualify potential business to maximize transient room nights and ancillary revenue.
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic account plans tailored to the North American market to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through outside calls, site inspections, and familiarization trips within assigned territories.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Four Seasons properties and competitive advantages.
- Conduct customer site inspections and sales presentations to uncover client needs and offer customized solutions.
- Ensure accurate data management in CRM and reservation systems (Opera).
- Collaborate with global sales offices, participate in strategy and sales meetings, and contribute to the annual marketing plan.
- Manage and optimize sales budgets and travel expenses in line with strategic priorities.
- Legal work authorization to work in Europe is required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Manager role within the luxury hospitality sector, preferably targeting the North American market.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities.
- A creative and innovative approach to sales and business development.
- Deep understanding of the ultra-luxury hospitality segment and discerning clientele.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking); proficiency in Italian is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Opera PMS or similar systems.

At Four Seasons Hotel Firenze we are looking for a Shift Engineer, who diagnoses, provides service and repairs to hotel equipment and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies.
What you will do
Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manne
Be familiar with all emergencies procedures and respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
Install electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and provide electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.
Where required assist with training to all department staff to ensure efficient operation, proper maintenance and repair to equipment.
What you bring
High school education or equivalent experience.
Must have a minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
Must possess excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance and basic ability to operate computer equipment.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian language. Proficiency in English is a plus.

At Four Seasons Firenze we are looking for a passionate and strategic Director of Sales to monitor and motivate the department activities and team to ensure that all salespersons' quotas are met, sales activities, individual accounts and group bookings are focused and coordinated with transient demand to yield the maximum revenue per available room, to maximize sales in all hotel revenue areas. The position has overall responsibility for achieving revenue goals, KPIs, guest and employee satisfaction and the financial performance of the department.
What You Will Do
- Hire, retain and develop diverse, high-caliber talent that makes a strong positive impact on the organization, and creates and sustains a work environment that embraces the brand's culture, ensures fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business success.
- Develop and implement strategies to exceed financial results and drive market share, customer satisfaction, employee loyalty, owner loyalty, and brand strength for the hotel.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to effectively manage all the different sales channels and segmentation. Ensure the development of strategic account plans for the demand generators in the market. Deploy sales team against appropriate market segments and constantly monitor performance.
- Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, ensure projects are executed for all market areas as stated in the hotel marketing plan with emphasis on increasing sales and profitability, review market analysis and determine client needs, occupancy potential, rates desired, etc.
- Supervise the installation of sales and marketing procedures and ensure the hotel is in compliance with all company Minimum Operating Standards.
- Proactively position and market the property to remain a market leader and strengthen Four Seasons brand image. Develop and execute a marketing strategy to drive revenue and meet property objectives.
- Act as the customer expert and customer advocate at the hotel. Ensure sales and marketing information provided to the operations departments is timely, accurate and enables property to meet or exceed guest expectations, create customer loyalty and grow market share.
- Identify changing market conditions and introduce appropriate changes in sales and marketing strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations and results.
- Know the business, the competition, the clients and customer trends. Represent the customer needs to the rest of the hotel, and constantly identify and communicate potential new revenue opportunities to the hotel executive team influencing the development of plans to tap those opportunities.
- Proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external key stakeholder groups.
- Create and execute account plans for assigned markets and territories in the Leisure Segment to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted targets are achieved.
- Conduct sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment.
- Effectively manage communication with Four Seasons Sales Offices maintaining regular dialogue and providing Sales & Marketing updates.
- Lead on-property sales functions and leverages above property sales resources to deliver results.
- Accomplish desired results by setting priorities and effectively managing through people and processes, using reliable tools, and leveraging resources and other parts of the organization.
- Assign clear goals to team members to assure success and accountability for results. Encourage sales team to set and exceed challenging objectives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure work is of the highest level.
- Be responsible for all aspects of systems, administration, database and facilities of on-site sales activities including procedures and processes specific to the daily operation of the sales team. Responsible for overseeing the contract document, escrow, loan servicing and reporting processes for new sales, buybacks, repurchases and re-sales.
- The Director of Sales will also manage specific markets and segmentations.
- Education: Academic education or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Must have minimum 3 year experience in the same position. Proven sales track record is a plus.
- Must possess strong decision making, selling, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, delegate and work under pressure are requirements for this post. Coach and development skills are also expected.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner when representing the hotel or company.
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. Other languages such as French and/or Arabic are a plus.
- Travel required: in case of sales trips, conferences, training and special events.

About The RoleAt Four Seasons Hotel Firenze the Learning & Development Manager delivers workplace learning, performance improvement programs and engagement initiatives to best achieve long-term business success. This position adds value in meeting the hotel's needs by identifying and implementing learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotel's strategic direction.
What You Will Do- Plan, coordinate and facilitate training sessions identifying staff development needs at an individual & group level.
- Ensure department training goals are set and achieved and act as an objective third party in counseling, problem solving or conflict situations where learning issues are involved.
- Evaluate and communicate the effect of training programs and initiatives through measuring results and monitoring behavioral change.
- Regularly coach and develop Designated Trainers and Managers in their role and responsibilities and analyze service gaps to improve service levels
- Work alongside the Senior Director of People and Culture and senior management to determine performance gaps and learning needs.
- Regularly benchmark the learning function with Corporate Learning Success Levels and market the learning function's programs, initiatives and Four Seasons Learning.

- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
