Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the execution of utility-scale or commercial & industrial (C&I) solar EPC projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning).
- Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, and QA/QC.
- Act as the main point of contact with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, technical standards, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and cost tracking.
- Lead site visits, inspections, and project reviews as required.
- Support project handover and client satisfaction upon commissioning and acceptance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in managing EPC projects, preferably in the solar PV or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of delivering complex energy or infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with PV system design, grid connection requirements, and key components (e.g., inverters, modules, switchgear).
- Solid understanding of project finance, contract management (EPC, FIDIC, turnkey contracts).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, ERP systems).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages (e.g., Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French) are a plus.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
