**Secret Food Tours** is an award-winning tour company _immediately_ looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about food, traveling and history to lead foodie tours through Bologna's Quadrilatero neighbourhood.
This role is a lot of fun and a perfect fit for applicants with a flair for entertaining and a love of great food. Our guides lead small groups of tourists through some of Bologna's best eateries while sharing history and culture along the way. This is the perfect job for performers of all types, teachers, historians, college students, and of course for people who have a passion for food.
- Professional, responsible, and great with both time and money management.
- Passionate about the city of Bologna, its history, its culture, and most importantly. its food!
- Outgoing and dedicated to providing a once-in-a-lifetime guest experience.
- Able to memorize a tour script and route while making it their own.**Secret Food Tours** offers competitive pay with a **flat rate of 80€** (**for a licensed guide) and 70€(for an unlicensed guide) per 3 to 3,5 hour tour **plus tips (which are frequently **VERY** generous!). Tours run daily at 10:30am and 3pm (and sometimes at 10am and 11am). We are looking to bring on 1 guide with flexible availability to cover a few bookings each month with the idea that the guide will cover more tours as we move into the summer. Additional shifts may be available also at alternate times based on private and group bookings.

**What we do**
We run bite-sized (90 min) tours as well as longer 3-7 hour tours and day trips. These regularly scheduled tours explore Rome's most iconic, storied attractions.
**Training with Walks**
Our tours are nothing without guides. You sit at the center of our business, and at the front of every guests’ experience. You may be a seasoned pro, but we believe everyone can learn more and continuously improve. As a result, we invest heavily in our guides and their education. We expect a high standard from our guides, and we will support you every step of the way to achieving them.

- Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated on Cleo policies, industry trends, and product/service offerings.
- Commit to learning and growth specific to DEI/inclusive support with the goal of unlearning harmful biases when applicable.
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Italian
- Strong preference for those residing in Italy, though will consider individuals fluent in Italian and familiar with Italian culture but residing in other European countries.
- Experience providing support to parents, caregivers and/or families. Strong preference for those with experience or certification in the following areas: cancer & chronic conditions (nursing), child care/education, adolescent development, caregiving or parenting.
- Experience providing support to parents, caregivers and/or families. Strong preference for those with experience in and understanding of the Italian educational system and childcare/enrichment options.
- Ability to creatively problem-solve, think critically, and make decisions with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; an ability to provide clear and concise guidance; through in-app messaging and over the phone or video call with an empathetic tone.
- A solution-oriented mindset, an ability to be self-motivated, and an energy and drive to deliver exceptional member experience, and to support families across the globe.
- An eagerness to work in a collaborative environment; with the ability to effectively navigate technology such as Google Suite, Front, and Slack in a remote environment.
- An ability to thrive in an ever-changing, rapidly expanding fast-paced startup environment.
- Technical and Business Expertise: Help to improve the family experience via feedback on services and available technology. Provide key feedback on member experience to help our cross-functional team build and further develop key features.
- Member-Focused: Challenge and support the development of Pod Teams to prioritize member needs; while delivering individually tailored solutions. Developing rapport and strong relationships with members, Pod Team, and cross-functional team members.
- Decision-Making: Gather information necessary to make decisions. Think through problems clearly and logically. Are decisive and don’t procrastinate on decisions once there is clarity on appropriate next steps.
- Communication: Listen well, express verbal and written ideas fluently and logically, are open to input, and can be depended on for truthfulness and integrity.
- Results-Oriented: Are goal-directed, focused, and accountable for meeting commitments, while also recognizing the contributions of peers.
