The opportunity and your responsibilities:

The Workforce Advisory team of the People Consulting sub-service line is looking for an HR Consulting Manager experienced in Talent & People Development, with a strong background in managing consulting projects and developing HR solutions to support our clients in resource optimization. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising consulting teams, managing client relationships, and defining innovative talent development strategies. The role involves active leadership in project coordination and strategic consulting at national and international levels.

Talent & People Development:

  • Collaborate with clients to analyze organizational needs and define talent development strategies.
  • Design and implement tailored talent development programs aimed at enhancing technical, managerial, and leadership skills.
  • Supervise the creation and implementation of succession plans and career paths, working with management to ensure continuous alignment with business strategies.

Assessment:

  • Define and conduct individual and group assessments using advanced methodologies (e.g., assessment centers, 360° feedback, psychometric tools) to identify skill gaps and development opportunities for clients.
  • Analyze assessment results and work with clients to integrate findings into talent management and performance strategies.

Training:

  • Design and deliver training programs, both traditional (classroom) and digital (e-learning, blended learning).
  • Facilitate workshops and interactive sessions to develop transversal and behavioral skills (e.g., soft skills, teamwork, leadership).

The North American Employee Relations (ER) team supports Field Operations organizations across fulfillment and logistics business lanes. The central objective of our team is to ensure treatment of employees that is fair, respectful, and consistent with our framework of our core business values and objectives. We are seeking an ER Manager with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence field operations managers, human resources, and contractors; to analyze multiple levels of employee and partner feedback to identify risks and gaps; to create, audit, and sustain positive workplace relations programs; and to design and conduct positive workplace relations training that drives best practices. The Manager also will work reactively on crisis-oriented situations that typically can only be successfully addressed under severe time constraints. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position.

The Employee Relations Manager will possess employee and labor relations expertise, excellent judgment, and highly-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. The Manager will be comfortable both presenting to senior leaders and communicating with frontline employees. The successful Manager will be a strong project manager, capable of independently owning large-scale, network-wide projects. - Detect and Mitigate Risks: Apply employee and labor relations expertise to successfully identify trends, gaps, and challenges; execute solution-focused strategies and programs to mitigate risks
- Crisis Management: Work reactively on crisis-oriented partner issues under time limitations while exercising excellent judgment
- Project Management: Independently own large-scale, network-wide projects delivered on time that improve frontline partner experience
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Exercise strong analytical skills using data and anecdotes to develop persuasive narratives and recommendations; demonstrated ability to define and measure success of programs

The position supports Mexico Operations. To support that objective, this position will focus on site support activities that improve local and network employee relations.

The individual, for example, will work proactively to:
- Collect and analyze multiple levels of Associate and manager feedback, primarily through data analysis and site visits;
- Partner and engage with site leadership and HR to identify and improve opportunities that affect the Associate experience including continuous improvement in communication vehicles and practices;
- Analyze, diagnose, and audit people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations;
- Prepare assessment reports including observations and analysis for senior level leadership review;
- Conduct positive employee relations trainings;
- Conduct and oversee employee relations and vulnerability assessment programs.

The position reports to the Mexico’s Employee Relations Head of Country within the Operations Human Resources group. This is a full-time position that will require significant travel, 50-60% of the time over the course of the year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Completed Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years direct experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work
- Experience in retail / manufacturing / distribution / call center environments with hourly employee populations.
- Experience in Federal Labor Law.
