Job Description

The main objective of the candidate will be to ensure the correct flow, planning, and operational management of shipments, including customs procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Management of shipping and invoicing documents (including samples, material returns, Intercompany shipments, and shipments of various materials)
• Imports (quotation requests, documentation control, customs forms archiving, etc.)
• Control and management of customs procedures

Epta, un gruppo multinazionale specializzato nella refrigerazione commerciale internazionale nei settori Retail, Ho.Re.Ca. e Food & Beverage, è alla ricerca di una risorsa da inserire come Import / Export Specialist presso il proprio hub logistico di Vigasio . La figura sarà responsabile di gestire l’intero processo di importazione ed esportazione, garantendo la corretta e puntuale consegna dei materiali nel rispetto delle normative vigenti.

Principali Responsabilità :

• Gestione delle procedure doganali e delle attività operative correlate;
• Preparazione della fatturazione intercompany UE ed Extra-UE dei prodotti spediti dai diversi plant;
• Collaborazione con gli Export Specialist delle altre sedi del Gruppo per garantire l’allineamento e lo sviluppo omogeneo dei processi aziendali;
• Mantenimento di rapporti efficaci con i broker doganali e le autorità competenti.

Requisiti richiesti :

• Almeno 2 anni di esperienza in un ruolo analogo nel settore spedizioni import / export;
• Laurea preferibilmente in Economia con indirizzo internazionale / aziendale o affine;
• Conoscenza approfondita delle normative doganali e dei flussi logistici internazionali;
• Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese (una seconda lingua costituisce un plus);
• Disponibilità a brevi trasferte.

• Previous experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Familiarity with main Incoterms and transport documents (CMR, AWB, B/L, etc.)
• Knowledge of ERP management systems, preferably SAP
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Summary

Covering this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage import and export processes for various Vantive legal entities, ensuring customs compliance.

You’ll also organize and supervise activities in regard to optimization of timelines and costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Managing the import processes relevant to permanent and/or temporary operations with focus on customs/USMAF (sanitary for medical devices) compliance

· Filing documentation regarding each import

· Analysis of customs tariffs, with reference to Customs official guidelines

· Deployment of Vantive guidelines with reference to tenders and freight

· Management of invoices from carriers for import traffic in collaboration with the administration department.

· Check of customs bill of entries

· Performs backup for exports to support the team.

· Interaction with the transports teams and brokers to manage freights and carriers relevant to lanes in scope.

· Contributes to achieve targets as set from quality policies and EHS requirements

Qualifications

· Fluent written and spoken English

· Knowledge of incoterms

· Competencies relevant to customs issues: analysis and understanding of customs tariffs, relation with USMAF, import of medical devices and requirements for registration at the Ministry of Health

· Knowledge of national and international legislation that regulates foreign trade

· Problem solving and Team work

Education and/or experience

· Degree in economics or equivalent

· Experience in the field of imports and exports in a strongly structured company
