Within our Engineering area, we seek an Automation & Control Engineer responsible for engineering tasks in automation, primarily on pharmaceutical plants, applying fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to support engineering tasks.
Availability for national and international missions is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and finalize technical specifications and coordinate with suppliers.
- Support Process Engineering in specifications and follow-up of pharmaceutical machinery.
- Perform engineering tasks such as equipment selection, schematic design, system layout, cost estimation, and documentation.
- Develop and implement control and automation solutions based on cause and effect documentation, P&IDs, control narratives, and environmental understanding. Ensure accuracy and reliability of instrumentation, control, and safety systems.

Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Instrumentation.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and finalize the technical specs and carry out the follow up with the supplier, according to the specifications issued.
- Support the Process Engineering in the activities of specification and follow up of pharmaceutical machinery.
- Perform engineering tasks using established procedures, these include, but are not limited to, equipment selection, schematic design, system layout, cost estimation and system documentation.
- Develop and implement control and automation solutions based upon cause and effect documentation, P&IDs, control narrative and an understanding of the environment. Insure accuracy and reliability of instrumentation, control and safety systems.
Here's what you'll need
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or Instrumentation.
- Must have working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems and equipment.
- Strongly proficient in English and Italian, German language knowledge could be an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work well with individuals (co-workers, clients, vendors) at all levels.
- Skills of good communicator, listener of commitment and of hard worker complete the profile
- Ability to effectively manage priorities while working with various types of people.
