HRIS Analyst

Reports To : Vice President HRIS

Key Relationships : Human Resources, IT, Legal, Compliance

Other Key Relationships : Third-party payroll providers / processors; internal Workday Developer, and administrators

HRIS Analyst / High Level Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst will focus on supporting Workday’s Recruiting and Learning modules as well as provide support for Workday’s HCM, Talent, Compensation, Time Tracking & Absence, Recruiting, and Learning modules. This role will be responsible for supporting projects, enhancements, Tier 1 and 2 issues, and break / fixes. The primary focus areas are (1) delivering quality configuration, testing, processing and reporting support to HR Business Partners and Center of Excellence groups; (2) identifying, evaluating, recommending, implementing, and providing process improvement efforts to streamline and reduce risk in existing processes; and (3) partnering with the entire HRIS team to ensure we are delivering the highest quality product and support to the business. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for other duties as assigned by Enovis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the SME for Workday Recruiting and Learning modules, as well as support HCM, Compensation, and Talent modules.
  • Architect project responsibilities with an understanding of Workday methodology and configuration knowledge
  • Recommend process and support improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, and / or major variations from established policies
  • Provide support for Workday, including researching and resolving complex problems, unexpected results or process flaws, and provides recommended solutions to resolve issues
  • Stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.
  • Develop test plans and project plans for upgrades / new functionality
  • Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
  • Drive Workday testing strategy by defining test scenarios and oversee process. Review, test, and assist with the implementation of Workday system upgrades; collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of an update or fix and document process and results.
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and calculated fields timely and accurately ensuring to meet legal and compliance requirements
  • Generate dashboards, reports, and queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of dashboards, reports, or queries utilizing appropriate tools
  • Create, maintain, and update business processes, notifications, alerts, and validations / condition rules
  • Monitor workflow, and audit for accuracy, security and efficient processing of requests
  • Complete, process, and audit EIBs
  • Creatin, maintain and assign security
  • Manage system support, issues and access via Customer Support Center
  • Provide end-user support; troubleshoot issues via research, testing, recreation of scenarios and document findings
  • Partner with third party vendors for Workday support
  • Partner with team and support manager on Workday projects and on-demand requests

Minimum Essential Requirements :

  • Targeted Experience & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years Workday Recruitment module configuration experience is required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in written and oral English language required
  • Preferred Experience :
  • Trained in Advanced Security & Analytics

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Broad and in-depth HR skills including comprehensive analysis of complex situations, creative problem-solving and strong influencing abilities
  • Ability to read / write technical documentation (requirements, configuration, process, etc.)
  • Ability to identify project plan tasks for complex projects, understand dependencies, and help deliver according to the plan
  • Ability to identify risk and help develop mitigation strategies and plans
  • Ability to understand complex processes and translate and implement them into streamlined solutions
