What We Do

Executive Search Analysts are responsible for supporting the research phase of the executive recruiting lifecycle. Working closely with our expert Search Partners & Principals (Consultants), and connecting with team members across all levels of the Search team, Analysts receive world class training and mentorship in an apprenticeship-style method. Our Analysts are exposed to all aspects of the recruitment process and assist the Consultant by researching specific industries and relevant companies, plus support business development activities. Analysts support the team through candidate identification, preparing client reports and ensuring all data is accurately captured in H&S systems. An integral part of an Analyst’s role is building and sustaining relationships with internal Consultants, performing deep candidate, client and industry research and contributing to executive assessments against client’s requirements.


While learning the Search industry, Analysts invest significant time researching and learning about various industries, executive roles and functions, and do so in collaboration with colleagues across the globe. The Analyst role has significant responsibility in the executive search process and the opportunity for high impact. The role has an excellent career track potential on a well-defined path.


Role Responsibilities


Research & Writing :

  • Conducting industry research to gain comprehensive understanding of the Client Company, their industry and the position requirements.
  • Identifying prospective candidates through targeted company research, relevant prior searches and using Heidrick’s proprietary systems and methodologies.


Internal and External Communication :

  • Contributing to multiple engagements, candidate pipelines and the needs of multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining progress reports/status reports/market feedback reports for presentation to Consultants and Clients.
  • Assisting Consultants in writing candidate assessments to present to clients.
  • Supporting business development activities and pitch preparation as directed.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Search Partner to join our growing team of recruitment professionals. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise and talent acquisition capabilities within a highly respected executive search firm that values both strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.

Your Impact

As a Partner at JOlivier, you will drive business development, lead complex executive search and talent acquisition assignments, and contribute to the firm's continued growth and market leadership in recruitment. You will have the autonomy to build your executive search practice within our established framework while benefiting from the firm's reputation, talent intelligence methodology, and collaborative recruiter culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our executive search client base across your region
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and board members at leading financial institutions seeking recruitment services
  • Lead complex executive search and talent acquisition assignments from inception to completion
  • Partner with clients to understand their strategic direction and translate business needs into compelling talent intelligence solutions
  • Advise clients on organizational design, succession planning, and leadership development as part of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy
  • Leverage industry knowledge and talent intelligence to identify and attract exceptional leadership talent
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments and prepare comprehensive evaluation materials using our proprietary executive search methodology
  • Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate successful offer acceptances
  • Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and market positioning in the executive recruitment space
  • Mentor and develop junior recruitment team members

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful business development, financial services executive search and talent acquisition
  • Established network of senior relationships within the financial services industry and the broader recruitment community
  • Demonstrated business development capabilities and a history of client retention in executive search
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at the board and C-suite level
  • Strategic talent intelligence mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with modern talent acquisition tools and methodologies

Would you like to contribute to identifying and attracting the best leaders?

The candidate works closely with his/her colleagues, providing thorough research support to specific assignments and business development opportunities. He/She also actively maintains and develops the firm’s internal information.

He/She will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support on assignments such as formulate and execute a search strategy together with the consultant and the client; identify and verify relevant candidates by using the internal database and online search engines; assist in market mapping projects,…
  • Prepare comprehensive client documentation (e.g. search strategies, pitch packs, …)
  • Support local and international colleagues with candidate ideas and sources
  • Develop strong market knowledge by capturing market insights gathered during the course of a project and share with expert team colleagues and consultants
  • Maintain the highest quality information by monitoring and tracking relevant market developments, company updates and people moves, updating the internal database where necessary
  • Alert colleagues to key people moves and market changes, highlighting potential business development opportunities

Key requirements:

  • Holding a bachelor’s or a master's degree, the successful candidate may have interest in executive search and consultancy firms. Demonstrating strong analytical and project management skills, an eye for details and a result oriented approach is key to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to convey ideas and insights in clear and powerful documents and presentation is required.
  • The ideal candidate will also show excellent ability to collaborate in an intercultural environment, showing personal flexibility.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.

This role offers broad international exposure in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The role is located in Milan.
