The RoleThe Head of Risk Management, reporting directly to the CEO, is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the business, ensuring the strategic objectives are being met, risks are adequately mitigated, and the general supervisory needs are being efficiently monitored. This role requires detail orientation, advanced interpersonal skills (especially lateral leadership) in addition to sound decision making. While organization and planning are critical, this role inevitably requires high flexibility to handle unforeseen obstacles and opportunities. The successful candidate will have the chance to embark on an exciting career development journey, which includes taking on the responsibility for our Spanish business.
Key responsibilities- Implementing and monitoring the adequacy of the risk management program specific to the HXFC Italy operations
- Performing daily monitoring of Clients’ and HCFX Italy’s portfolios
- Analyzing current risks and identifying potential operational and regulatory risks that are affecting HCFX Italy
- Maintain HCFX Italy’s risk register where detected and reported risk incidents are documented
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures relating to risk management
- Collaborating with local Top and Line Managers in the preparation of periodical reporting to authorities (RSO etc.)
- Performing risk evaluation through research, analytical support and modelling for stress testing various scenarios
- Preparing and presenting operational risks management information to senior management of HCFX Italy and Board
- Monitoring local activity and ensuring that risk controls are embedded into the business and operate effectively
- Designing, implementing and maintaining an overall financial risk management process, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
- Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience (ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
- Contributing to create a local risk culture, in line with the Group, and share risk awareness amongst local teams by providing support and training
- 3+ years of experience as Risk Manager (preferable in payments)
- Bachelors/Masters in a quantitative discipline, such as Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and financial instruments
- Proven experience in capital markets, counterparty risk, stress testing and financial modelling
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient English language and fluent Italian language skills required

Position Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the Network Operations team, ensuring efficient response to enterprise network and security events, or related activities such as Root Cause Analysis
- Lead and mentor a team of network and security operations analysts and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and runbooks for incident response and other network operations, with a focus on proactive analytics and automation
- Work collaboratively across all sectors of the IT organization and business organizations to achieve “silent” operations and superlative productivity for the company
- Manage budget and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with relevant network standards, security regulations and industry standards (Network policy standards, IOS 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or Boeing’s CSSM)
- Generate and report on network operations activities, including incident response metrics, network availability, and other KPI’s and metrics as required
- Participate in network audits and assessments remediating any findings through documented, process driven responses
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco and Arista networking, load balancing, firewalls, and / or related technologies for robust network / security solutions
- 5+ years of experience improving network availability towards 99.999% availability
- 3+ years of experience in managing and / or leading network operations in a complex environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience with network design, architecture, protocols, and / or operations for effective network management and implementation
- 5+ years of experience running global network operations
- 5+ years of experience with complex project & program management
- Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Italy. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Italy. - Ottima conoscenza di Firewall e Application Firewall dei principali vendor (es. Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point)
- Esperienza su router, access point, switch Layer 2 / 3 e sistemi di monitoraggio (SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow)
- Conoscenza di sistemi operativi Linux, Windows, Mac OS e ambienti di virtualizzazione (es. VMware, Hyper-V)
- Buona padronanza dell’hardware server
- Capacità di lavoro in team distribuiti e internazionali
- Conoscenza base di Active Directory
- Familiarità con cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Competenza nell’analisi dei log e nel tracciamento delle violazioni di sicurezza
- Certificazioni tecniche su firewall (es. NSE, PCNSA, CCNP Security, ecc.)

- Collabora con il Cyber Security Manager e tutto il Dipartimento ICT per verificare l'avanzamento del programma di cyber security al fine di migliorare la security posture aziendale;
- Coopera con il Cyber Security Manager per garantire il corretto funzionamento dei sistemi di cyber security (es. firewall, Web Filtering, sistemi antivirus, ecc);
- Configura e aggiorna i sistemi di cyber security sulla base delle evoluzioni di politica interna in materia;
- In caso di anomalie di funzionamento collabora con il cyber security manager per la risoluzione del problema nel minor tempo possibile, facendo troubleshooting e interfacciandosi con funzioni aziendali o fornitori di outsourcing;
- Collabora con il Cyber Security manager in modo propositivo per individuare nuove soluzioni tecnologiche o funzionalità per il miglioramento continuo della cyber security;
- È responsabile del proprio aggiornamento sulle nuove tecnologie, soluzioni e tematiche in ambito di cyber security per poter dare un contributo al passo coi tempi;
- In caso di introduzione di nuovi sistemi di cyber security collabora con il cyber security manager nella progettazione (es. software selection, definizione di costi, tempi, modi e step di progetto, preventivo, contrattualistica);
- Effettua delle analisi per verificare e valutare i requisiti di cyber security dei servizi forniti dal Dipartimento ICT in termini ad esempio KPI, fattori di rischio, protezione dei dati, del sistema, ecc.
- Si relaziona con i fornitori dei servizi di cyber security affidati in outsourcing per verifica del SAL di servizio, per la gestione di anomalie, modifiche evolutive o progettuali, rispetto KPI ecc.
- Conoscenza dei sistemi operativi client/server
- Gestione di servizi / sistemi di sicurezza IT all'interno di Infrastrutture IT Complesse
- Conoscenza di infrastrutture IT complesse
- Conoscenza tematiche di Cyber Security quali ad esempio: triade CIA, tipologia di minacce informatiche, vulnerabilità, relativi rischi connessi, contromisure e tecniche di hardening dei sistemi di sicurezza
- Conoscenza di networking, protocolli di comunicazione, sistemi NAC e tool di analisi del traffico
- Competenze sui sistemi Firewall, WAF, IPS, IDS
- Competenze sui sistemi VPN
- Competenze sui sistemi Web Filtering
- Competenze sui sistemi EPP, EDR e Device Control
- Competenze sui sistemi di Vulnerability Assessment e Patch Management
- Competenze sui sistemi di E-mail Security
