About the Company: fora multinational market leader in the consumer electronics, our Recruitment Engineer are looking for a Tech Application Leader .
Core Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end design of Retail applications across Cashing and Payment, EDI and Product Information Management (PIM).
- Translate business needs into clear, testable solutions aligned with company standards.
- Orchestrate delivery through suppliers, ensuring quality, performance and time-tomarket.
- Meet with business partners to understand business needs.
- Define application architecture and components: technology stack, internal structure, interfaces, data/business objects and event models; keep documentation current.
- Coordinate suppliers through design, build, test and release; plan activities, manage risks and resolve impediments.
- Communicate development standards (coding, security, versioning, CI/CD, documentation) to suppliers and enforce them via quality gates and deliverable reviews.
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture & Integration team on integration patterns and contracts; oversee APIs and event flows.
- Validate compliance with functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability, observability); lead root-cause analysis and tuning.
- Set up and supervise test plans (SIT, integration, performance, UAT) and support go-live.
- Own L3 support for your applications, handling incidents, problems and changes; maintain runbooks and knowledge base.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3–4 years in similar roles (e.g., Application/Solution Engineer, Technical Lead) in Retail/omnichannel environments.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle; proficient with UML and technical specification writing.
- Experience in Retail system integration and application delivery; familiarity with Cashing and Payment, EDI and PIM are nice to have.
- Competent in API and integration design, data modeling, messaging and eventdriven principles; understanding of modern architectures (microservices, containers), CI/CD and basic DevSecOps.
- Skilled in supplier coordination and technical negotiation; organized, pragmatic and comfortable with tight deadlines.
- Team player with a client-first mindset Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
