**The Role**:
Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) is an intense **two-year program** for people who have a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, and share Xylem's desire to solve the world’s toughest resource challenges. The program is designed to accelerate professional development through technical and leadership training and a variety of business-critical assignments.

The ELDP consists of 3 rotational assignments (8 months each) which are driven by real business priorities. The program includes Continuous Improvement training, formal presentations to senior leadership, and valuable leadership training.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Plan and perform assigned tasks within the framework of program rotation
- Complete assignment objectives on schedule, within budget, with higher than expected quality while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
- Demonstrate analytical / problem solving skills.
- Propose new analyses, techniques and methodologies with respect to specific area of responsibility where applicable
- Complete program training including continuous improvement training
- Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

**Minimum Qualifications**:

**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:**
Responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned rotation within Accounting, FP&A, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, or Operations. Participants will hold full-time analyst responsibilities in each area and contribute to high-impact projects. Responsibilities may include:

+ Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations.

**ABOUT THE PROGRAM**

The Finance Leadership Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants on multiple Avient Finance Teams during an 19 month rotational program. Individuals get hands-on experience by going through three rotations in key areas of accounting, finance, audit, tax, treasury, and international finance, and actively participate in various Corporate, Business Unit and International assignments. These teams develop and support a wide range of projects that enable the critical processes of Avient businesses.

During each phase of assignment, Finance Associates will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and be provided feedback from the program manager. In addition, you will continue to grow and develop your career through on-the-job and formal training, coaching and mentoring.

Upon completion of the program, individuals will be placed in a full time role within Avient that best suits their personal and professional goals while matching the business needs.

**Essential Functions**
- Work as a partner with Europe Finance Directors, Lead Regional Controllers and Europe Finance core team to resolve financial related issues.
- Contribute to the preparation or the Training of Accounts Reconciliation.
- Bring your expertise and work with Local Accounting Team for Improvements.
- Gain exposure to domestic and international operations and knowledge of Avient customers and go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Contribute in the planning, execution and reporting of financial and operational internal audits.
- Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe and make a difference in Avient’s future success.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Recent Bachelor's or Master’s graduate degree in Accounting and Finance
- Strong foundational knowledge in Accounting.
- Team player with strong project management and organization skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Good active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Languages: English fluent, additional European languages an asset.
- Willingness to move to EU countries during program.
- EU Category B Driving License.

**What you’ll do**:

- Program duration: Three years
- Rotations: Three unique twelve-month assignments in 2 different countries. Two assignments are in commercial area meaning it is a role in the sales organization and one assignment is in the operations area which will help you to gain experience in supply chain and manufacturing part of our business.
- Potential Operations Assignments include: lean/continuous improvement, quality, project management, supply chain management, project management, logistics - depending on the country and business unit you will focus on.
- ** The program begins in September 2025, with initial location in Turin, Italy, where you will work as a Sales Analyst**:This role supports the sales department in key functional initiatives and activities such as periodic metrics reporting, reviews, events, and meetings. From time to time, you may support account managers with specific account activities such as new business pursuits, developing pipeline opportunities, and pricing strategy. In this role, you will also develop standards and knowledge management for core sales activities. This position is the key interface for the regional sales team on Vehicle Group, Industrial Sector, and corporate commercial and related front-end initiatives, with support from other sales department employees as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Must currently possess or will have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Data Science or related by August 2025. A master's degree in these fields is also preferred.
- Work or internship experience in a related commercial area is a plus (up to 3 years of experience).
