And. we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Main duties

Operational

1. Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
2. Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments.
3. Carries out and completes all maintenance works/requests according to the established schedule and ensures high quality of finishing work. Pays particular attention to guest related jobs.
4. Operates assigned machines/ equipment or “Primary Plant” to provide continuous and consistent utilities required for operations.
5. Handles the verification, storage, and utilization of all material deliveries to the premises as per the established policy and procedures.
6. Inspects, rectifies, maintains, and services all buggies maintaining high standards of safety as per policy and procedures.
7. Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes.
8. Properly handles and maintains all power tools.
9. Submits requests to the Engineering Director for the purchase of parts and consumables missing.
10. Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.
11. Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations.
12. Ensures fire, life, and safety systems are operational.
13. Performs emergency procedures relating to fire, life, and safety; e.g., attending to fire alarms, lift rescue.
14. Ensures timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
15. Reports any abnormal conditions noticed at any time in line with safety-related equipment or installation to Engineering Director.

Customer Service

1. Handles guest and colleagues' enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up at all times.
2. Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Other Duties

1. Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
2. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively represents the hotel team and Hyatt International.
3. Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, and other organizations.
4. Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and understands and adheres to the hotel's rules and regulations, especially policies related to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
5. Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming as per internal policy.
6. Responds to changes in the Engineering function as required by the operations industry, company, and hotel.
7. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Qualified applicants are required to possess 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and/or performing building repairs.

• Eseguire la manutenzione preventiva, predittiva e le riparazioni in stabilimento
