As our current Manufacturing Manager is taking on a new role within the Atlas Copco Group, we are seeking a new leader to join the Management Team at our Product Company Padova Italy, Varisco Srl.

In line with our ongoing commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, this role is key to ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our business strategy together with production and inbound logistics processes, while leading a diverse and skilled team.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of manufacturing operations, including the Manufacturing Engineering team, Manufacturing Planning Team, Inbound Logistics, and a Shop Floor team of Foreman, Line Leaders, and Operators. Your leadership will be critical in driving safety, quality, efficiency, and performance across the plant.

You will actively contribute to shaping and executing the manufacturing strategy in close collaboration with the management team, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving long-term success for both brands (Atlas Copco for Dewatering and Varisco for Industry) produced in PC Padova.

Mission

As Manufacturing Manager , your mission is to ensure the collaboration of production and inbound logistics, delivering high-quality products on time and at optimal cost. You will lead your teams with a focus on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, six sigma, and operational excellence, while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.

Varisco Product Company is a well-established and expanding company. It manufactures pumps for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016, Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team including Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Planners, Inbound Logistics, Foreman, Line Leaders, and Operators.
  • Oversee daily production operations to meet safety requirements, output, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement across all areas of your responsibility.
  • Ensure efficient material flow from inbound logistics to production lines.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Suppliers (with the Call-Off function) to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and capacity.
  • Be a key contributor to Product Quality Meetings (PQMs, TCMs), Cost Cut Meetings (CC7), New Product Developments (NPD), PTMs (Project Team Meetings), PCMs (Project Committee Meetings, divisional and local).
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and logistics.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Align with Marketing on Market needs.
  • Be an ambassador for the Product Company Padova in diverse Divisional and cross-divisional platforms and Boards Meetings (Production Council, Business Review Meetings).

Experience Requirement

  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Strong background in production planning, logistics, and lean manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is a plus.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent command of both Italian and English is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirement

Manufacturing Manager Description

Our client in the manufacturing and consumer products industry is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team in West Minneapolis, MN. Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, and managing 4 Supervisors, you’ll play a key leadership role in a Lean environment. You will focus on coaching leaders to success, holding team members accountable, and driving change. If you have experience working for a mid-sized manufacturing/assembly company (think 400-1,000 employees) and are data-focused and passionate about driving continuous improvement, then you could be a wonderful addition to the team. Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities

• Manage 4 Supervisors and about 100 indirect reports
• Train, coach, and mentor team members

• Ensure production is aligned with customer demand
• Drive a strong safety culture
• Oversee and improve performance metrics

Manufacturing Manager Qualifications

• 8+ years of manufacturing and/or assembly production experience required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required
• Lean (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Gemba Walks, etc.) experience required
• ERP experience required
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Plymouth, MN; occasional travel (up to 5%) required

As our current Manufacturing Manager is taking on a new role within the Atlas Copco Group, we are seeking a new leader to join the Management Team at our Product Company Padova Italy, Varisco Srl.

In line with our ongoing commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement, this role is key to ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our business strategy together with production and inbound logistics processes, while leading a diverse and skilled team.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of manufacturing operations, including the Manufacturing Engineering team, Manufacturing Planning Team, Inbound Logistics, and a Shop Floor team of Foreman, Line Leaders, and Operators. Your leadership will be critical in driving safety, quality, efficiency, and performance across the plant.

You will actively contribute to shaping and executing the manufacturing strategy in close collaboration with the management team, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving long-term success for both brands (Atlas Copco for Dewatering and Varisco for Industry) produced in PC Padova.

Mission

As Manufacturing Manager , your mission is to ensure the collaboration of production and inbound logistics, delivering high-quality products on time and at optimal cost. You will lead your teams with a focus on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, six sigma, and operational excellence, while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.

Varisco Product Company is a well-established and expanding company. It manufactures pumps for dewatering and industrial applications. In 2016, Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team including Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Planners, Inbound Logistics, Foreman, Line Leaders, and Operators.
  • Oversee daily production operations to meet safety requirements, output, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement across all areas of your responsibility.
  • Ensure efficient material flow from inbound logistics to production lines.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Suppliers (with the Call-Off function) to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and capacity.
  • Be a key contributor to Product Quality Meetings (PQMs, TCMs), Cost Cut Meetings (CC7), New Product Developments (NPD), PTMs (Project Team Meetings), PCMs (Project Committee Meetings, divisional and local).
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and logistics.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Align with Marketing on Market needs.
  • Be an ambassador for the Product Company Padova in diverse Divisional and cross-divisional platforms and Boards Meetings (Production Council, Business Review Meetings).

Experience Requirement

  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Strong background in production planning, logistics, and lean manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is a plus.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent command of both Italian and English is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
