As Power Generation Packages Engineer , you will join our Department/Function MEC , in the business line ENCAR , conducting the following activities:

  • Execute the project activities following Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow.
  • Prepare Mechanical Data Sheet, Inspection Data Sheet, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
  • Manage interfaces with Vendors, being the focal point for assigned supplies
  • Execute Vendors Documents follow-up
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests and site inspections of rotating equipment
  • Provide input and recommendations for equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and project teams disciplines (process, civil, piping, instrumentation & controls, electrical, metallurgy, projects management, procurement, inspection, logistics, commissioning and construction)to ensure the successful integration of rotating equipment into overall project designs

Main Energy Packages for process and utilities are:

  • Complete combined cycle power plant

QUALIFICATION: Master s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional English Level

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and design of above mentioned equipment/packages within the oil and gas industry

IT SKILLS: Proficient in MS Office Tools

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team at a gas-to-power facility utilizing aero-derivative or industrial gas turbines. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of turbine and balance-of-plant (BoP) control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, including support for power plants running on natural gas or liquid fuel.

Start Date : Immediately.

Location : On-site at a customer facility

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain turbine control systems (GE Mark VIe, Woodward, or similar) and auxiliary control systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve control system faults and operational issues during startup, shutdown, and normal operation.
  • Implement modifications and upgrades to PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to improve reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for commissioning, upgrades, and fault resolution.
  • Support first-fire, FSNL, and other critical commissioning events.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of logic changes, system configurations, and troubleshooting records.
  • Ensure compliance with plant safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with control systems in power generation facilities, specifically those operating on natural gas or liquid fuel using aero-derivative or industrial turbine generators.
  • Proven experience with GE Mark VIe, Woodward, or similar turbine control systems.
  • Strong background in PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of turbine start-up / shutdown logic, first-fire, FSNL, and BoP systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting of control system faults and operational anomalies.
  • Experience implementing and documenting logic changes and system upgrades.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet / IP, etc.).
  • Competency in using engineering tools for control system programming and simulation.
  • Thorough understanding of plant safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in power generation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with OEMs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to train and support plant operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Willingness to support site commissioning and critical operation phases, including off-hours availability.

    Il candidato supporterà il team di Project Control direttamente in cantiere a Monfalcone (GO) , assicurando che le complesse attività di costruzione e revamping siano eseguite secondo i tempi e le sequenze stabilite.


    Compiti

    • Pianificazione Operativa: Sviluppare e aggiornare le pianificazioni di dettaglio (a 2-4 settimane) per le attività di costruzione, montaggio meccanico, elettrico e strumentale.

    • Monitoraggio in Cantiere: Verificare quotidianamente l'avanzamento dei lavori in campo, raccogliendo dati e aggiornando il cronoprogramma di progetto.

    • Analisi Aree Operative: Eseguire analisi sulla disponibilità delle aree di lavoro (Workfront Analysis ) per garantire la continuità delle operazioni e identificare in anticipo possibili criticità, specialmente nelle interfacce tra impianti esistenti e nuovi.

    • Coordinamento Subappaltatori: Interfacciarsi costantemente con i supervisori di cantiere e i responsabili dei subappaltatori per validare il progresso dichiarato e allineare le pianificazioni operative.

    • Gestione Risorse: Monitorare l'impiego di manodopera e attrezzature in cantiere, confrontando i dati reali con le previsioni di piano.

    • Reporting: Preparare report giornalieri e settimanali sullo stato di avanzamento dei lavori per il Site Manager e il Project Control Manager, evidenziando scostamenti e aree di rischio.

    • Supporto al Team: Collaborare con l'ufficio di Project Control per integrare gli aggiornamenti dal cantiere nel Master Schedule di progetto.


    Requisiti

    • Un minimo di 5 anni di esperienza nel ruolo di Site Planner o Field Planner, maturata in cantieri di grandi dimensioni per progetti EPC.

    • L'esperienza in progetti di Power Generation , in particolare nella costruzione o nel revamping di centrali a ciclo combinato (CCGT) , costituisce un forte vantaggio.

    • Ottima conoscenza di Primavera P6 per la gestione operativa della pianificazione di cantiere.

    • Comprovata esperienza nel monitoraggio di attività di costruzione, con particolare riferimento a opere civili, montaggi meccanici ed E&I.

    • Capacità di leggere e interpretare disegni tecnici (P&ID, layout, isometrici) per comprendere le sequenze di lavoro.

    • Forti doti organizzative e di problem-solving, con un approccio proattivo e orientato al risultato.

    • Ottime capacità di comunicazione per interfacciarsi efficacemente con tutti i livelli del personale di cantiere.

    • La conoscenza fluente della lingua italiana è indispensabile. Una buona conoscenza dell'inglese tecnico è un vantaggio.

    • Diploma tecnico (Geometra, Perito Industriale) o Laurea in Ingegneria.

    Per un nostro cliente strategico, leader nella realizzazione di impianti industriali, siamo alla ricerca di un Site Planner per un importante progetto di modernizzazione energetica.

    Il candidato supporterà il team di Project Control direttamente in cantiere a Monfalcone (GO) , assicurando che le complesse attività di costruzione e revamping siano eseguite secondo i tempi e le sequenze stabilite.

    Compiti
    • Pianificazione Operativa: Sviluppare e aggiornare le pianificazioni di dettaglio (a 2-4 settimane) per le attività di costruzione, montaggio meccanico, elettrico e strumentale.
    • Monitoraggio in Cantiere: Verificare quotidianamente l'avanzamento dei lavori in campo, raccogliendo dati e aggiornando il cronoprogramma di progetto.
    • Analisi Aree Operative: Eseguire analisi sulla disponibilità delle aree di lavoro (Workfront Analysis ) per garantire la continuità delle operazioni e identificare in anticipo possibili criticità, specialmente nelle interfacce tra impianti esistenti e nuovi.
    • Coordinamento Subappaltatori: Interfacciarsi costantemente con i supervisori di cantiere e i responsabili dei subappaltatori per validare il progresso dichiarato e allineare le pianificazioni operative.
    • Gestione Risorse: Monitorare l'impiego di manodopera e attrezzature in cantiere, confrontando i dati reali con le previsioni di piano.
    • Reporting: Preparare report giornalieri e settimanali sullo stato di avanzamento dei lavori per il Site Manager e il Project Control Manager, evidenziando scostamenti e aree di rischio.
    • Supporto al Team: Collaborare con l'ufficio di Project Control per integrare gli aggiornamenti dal cantiere nel Master Schedule di progetto.
    Requisiti
    • Un minimo di 5 anni di esperienza nel ruolo di Site Planner o Field Planner, maturata in cantieri di grandi dimensioni per progetti EPC.
    • L'esperienza in progetti di Power Generation , in particolare nella costruzione o nel revamping di centrali a ciclo combinato (CCGT) , costituisce un forte vantaggio.
    • Ottima conoscenza di Primavera P6 per la gestione operativa della pianificazione di cantiere.
    • Comprovata esperienza nel monitoraggio di attività di costruzione, con particolare riferimento a opere civili, montaggi meccanici ed E&I.
    • Capacità di leggere e interpretare disegni tecnici (P&ID, layout, isometrici) per comprendere le sequenze di lavoro.
    • Forti doti organizzative e di problem-solving, con un approccio proattivo e orientato al risultato.
    • Ottime capacità di comunicazione per interfacciarsi efficacemente con tutti i livelli del personale di cantiere.
    • La conoscenza fluente della lingua italiana è indispensabile. Una buona conoscenza dell'inglese tecnico è un vantaggio.
    • Diploma tecnico (Geometra, Perito Industriale) o Laurea in Ingegneria.
