RINA is currently recruiting for a Process Improvement Engineer to join its office in Genova within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to support our clients in analysing, optimising, and redesigning business and engineering processes. This role plays a key part in enhancing operational performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering cross-functional efficiency within complex organisations. The ideal candidate has a structured mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyse existing business and technical processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Design optimised workflows and support their implementation across organisational functions
  • Review and update technical and operational procedures to improve clarity, traceability, and alignment with standards
  • Assist in the qualification, segmentation, and performance monitoring of suppliers
  • Support the execution of second-party audits to assess compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training sessions to build process awareness and ownership across teams

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Experience in process mapping and workflow optimisation within industrial or service environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and ability to interpret operational metrics
  • Strong technical writing skills for the development of procedures and documentation
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
  • Problem-solving attitude with strong communication and organisational skills

La risorsa, a riporto al Process Improvement Manager, si occuperà di:


  • Analizzare i processi aziendali esistenti e identificare le opportunità di miglioramento e standardizzazione
  • Collaborare alla ridefinizione e progettazione di nuovi processi coinvolgendo tutte le aree funzionali dell’azienda
  • Supportare l’implementazione di programmi di ottimizzazione per le Operations, con particolare attenzione all’introduzione di tecnologie di processo e produzione
  • Utilizzare e monitorare indicatori di performance (KPI) per valutare l'efficacia dei miglioramenti implementati
  • Promuovere e sostenere il cambiamento all’interno dell’organizzazione , collaborando con i principali stakeholders per l’adozione delle nuove soluzioni


Requisiti:


  • Laurea in Ingegneria , Economia o affini
  • Esperienza pregressa di almeno 2 anni nel ruolo (anche di stage in aziende strutturate nel campo dell’ottimizzazione dei processi)
  • Interesse e desiderio di crescere nel campo del Lean Management e dell’Operational Exellence
  • Ottima capacità di analisi dei processi aziendali e orientamento al problem solving
