We are currently looking for a Media Relations Coordinator to join our Communications team based in Rome.

Your Purpose

As Media Relations Coordinator , you’ll support the Communications team in enhancing the company’s visibility through strategic media engagement. You’ll lead corporate communication initiatives, manage relationships with media outlets and coordinate external partners to ensure consistent and impactful messaging aligned with business goals.

Your ‘Day To Day’ Media Strategy & Relations
  • oversee direct and indirect media relations in coordination with the Supervisor, ensuring accurate corporate positioning and effective message delivery;
  • engage with selected media outlets and contribute to the development and execution of media plans aligned with business objectives;
  • conduct daily press reviews and monitor media coverage to inform strategic decisions.
Content & Communication Materials
  • prepare scripts for media interviews;
  • draft and distribute press releases in line with corporate and employer branding strategies;
  • create and maintain press kits and other media materials to support external communication efforts.
Cross-functional & Strategic Collaboration
  • liaise with External Affairs sub-functions and internal departments to develop targeted media strategies;
  • ensure alignment with market, regional and global teams to maximize media impact and campaign effectiveness;
  • support the development of media action plans through strategic coordination with PMI functions and stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience gained in corporate communications, communication agencies, institutional press offices or through work as a journalist.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including media, institutions and industry bodies.
  • Business-oriented mindset and ability to align communication strategies with corporate positioning.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.

Di cosa ti occuperai

Nel tuo percorso di stage all’interno della Direzione Comunicazione e Media Relations del Gruppo Mondadori, in affiancamento al tutor aziendale avrai l’opportunità di acquisire le competenze e gli strumenti necessari per la realizzazione di attività di media relations, seguendo operativamente le seguenti mansioni:

  • redazione e diffusione di comunicati stampa su tematiche corporate e di prodotto;
  • collaborazione alla creazione di contenuti per i diversi canali di comunicazione digitale del Gruppo;
  • supporto alla gestione quotidiana dei rapporti con i media tradizionali e digitali;
  • media monitoring, rassegna stampa e analisi;
  • supporto durante eventi per i media, conferenze stampa e presentazioni;
  • pubblicazione contenuti digitali su Wordpress.
Il tuo profilo
  • Laurea magistrale;
  • Eccellenti capacità di scrittura;
  • Ottima padronanza, scritta e parlata, della lingua inglese;
  • Solida conoscenza dei linguaggi e delle tecniche di comunicazione;
  • Competenze avanzate nell’utilizzo del pacchetto Office, Google Suite, dei principali strumenti web e per l’editing grafico;
  • Motivazione, entusiasmo e interesse per la comunicazione e il mondo dei media;
  • Attitudine al lavoro in team, spiccate capacità relazionali e propensione al networking;
  • Una pregressa esperienza analoga sarà considerata un titolo preferenziale.

Basic Qualifications

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of competition policy frameworks, and related legal and economic concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English language, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
