Offer DescriptionThe collaboration is aimed at developing advanced methodologies for the creation of an “Untargeted Metabolic/Metabolomics Suite.” This suite will enable, through the analysis of metabolites and metabolomic profiles in biological fluid samples resulting from exposure to New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), a reliable identification of NPS and their complex metabolic patterns in biofluids. PhD TopicPhD Topic DC2 “Spatial communication in Sign Languages in Typical Ageing”
This project will consider spatial communication in sign languages across the lifespan (up to old age), using a combination of linguistic and experimental approaches, focusing on arbitrary space (referential or syntactic) and motivated space (topographical or surrogate), involving the mapping of the positions of concrete referents onto the signed space. In this project, topological space, pronominalization, and spatial verbs will be systematically tested in the comprehension and production of Italian sign language, in order to trace for the first time how spatial language changes across the lifespan.
Data will also be collected on a range of linguistic and non-linguistic measures to assess predictors of spatial language performance in older adults in sign languages. The fellow will benefit from training in theories of sign language development and in sign language video analysis. They will also receive training in Italian Sign Language, and in the transcription and analysis of Sign Language data.

- The position is open to candidates (of any nationality) who meet the requirements for Doctoral Candidates (DC) funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Selection and ranking methods
The examining commission proceeds with the selection by evaluating the qualifications and an interview.
The commission has a total of 100 points, of which 60 points for the evaluation of the qualifications and 40 points for the interview. Candidates who have obtained, in the examination of the qualifications, a minimum score of no less than 35/60 are admitted to the interview. The interview will be considered passed if the candidate has obtained a minimum score of no less than 35/40.
Those who have submitted the application to participate in the selection and who have not received notification of exclusion, are to present themselves on October 20, 2025 at 11:00 to take the online interview, using audio/video computer media according to operating methods that will be communicated by the Institute/Structure of the CNR, in any case designed to ensure publicity.
Before the start of the interview, individual candidates will be notified of the score obtained in the evaluation of qualifications.

At the end of the work, the commission draws up a report in which motivated judgments are expressed, also in summary form, on each candidate.
The commission draws up the merit ranking according to the decreasing order of the final score obtained by each candidate based on the sum of the scores obtained in the evaluation of qualifications and the interview and indicates the winner(s). In the event of a tie, the youngest candidate will be given preference.
The merit ranking will be approved by order of the Director of the Institute, and will be published, by the Director himself, by posting on the notice board of the examination venue, on the CNR website: and with the other forms of advertising provided for this selection notice.
All participants in the selection will be informed of the outcome of the selection by means of a communication sent by email.

Duration and grantThe research grant will have a duration of 32 months and may be extended/renewed until the end of the project, provided that the necessary financial resources for such extension/renewal are available. The winners of the selection and beneficiaries of the CNR-ISTC grants will be admitted as supernumerary, within the scope of the SCALA Project, to the PhD course in Industrial Engineering, XLI Cycle, at the University of Florence, following a resolution of the Course Teachers' Board. The costs of enrollment and attendance of the PhD course will be borne by the SCALA project, CNR-ISTC partner.
The recruited DC will receive a 32-months grant to cover living, travel and installation (mobility) allowance, and family allowance (if applicable). The annual gross amount of each research grant, intended as the total gross cost for the Institution, as established by the Financing Project, amounts to euro 39,739.20 as Living Allowance, plus euro 7,200.00 as Mobility Allowance, plus euro 5,940.00 as Family allowance (only if the beneficiary of the fellowship is married and/or has dependent children); these amounts are inclusive of all contributions, tax and insurance charges, both for the Institution and for the Receiver, deriving from the assignment of the Grant itself.
The grant will be paid in monthly installments in arrears. We are looking for Consultants for local stakeholder engagement in the framework of European projects respectively on climate services and climate finance for local adaptation decision making and policy elaboration in the Molise Region.
Main responsibilities- Conduct stakeholder engagement processes in the Molise Region.
- Develop, maintain and contribute to a database of “promising practices” in stakeholder engagement.
- Organize and coordinate working groups, workshops and events on the climate change domain in the Molise Region.
- Contribute to smooth and effective communication and collaboration with project partners at European level, especially demo case leaders, and identify possible synergies on climate change adaptation related issues.
- Support the design and coordination of training programmes on climate change related issues.
- Attend project events, internal meetings and webinars on behalf of the team to gather information, identify relevant contacts, share insights and developments on the climate change agenda.
- Contribute to the overall project management.

ROLEThe Local Stakeholder Engagement Consultant reports to the ISCD Division Director and is responsible for :
- Conducting stakeholder engagement processes in the Molise region.
- Developing, maintaining and contributing to a database of promising practices in stakeholder engagement.
- Organising and coordinating working groups, workshops and events on climate change in the Molise Region.
- Contribute to the smooth and effective communication and cooperation with project partners at European level, in particular with demonstration case leaders, and identify possible synergies on issues related to climate change adaptation.
- Support the design and coordination of training programmes on climate change related issues.
- Attend project events, internal meetings and webinars on behalf of the team, e.g. to gather information, identify relevant contacts, share insights and developments on the climate change agenda. Contribute to the overall management of the project.
- Experience of 10 years with policy or institutional development / implementation / reform related to the climate change domain, sustainable development and environmental sustainability related issues.
- Experience with regional public administration in climate change domain.
- Three years of experience in the field of stakeholder’s engagement, capacity building, negotiation, and community socio-development.
- Experience with project development, implementation, or demonstrations at local level involving stakeholder engagement and mobilization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Italian native speaker and working knowledge of English.
- Past experience with Molise region will be an asset.
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
