We are currently looking for a Software Project Manager to join the team in Delft .

At S(&)T , we specialize in cutting-edge R&D solutions for space, science, and defence. With over 20 years of experience, we collaborate with high-tech organizations to optimize performance through on-site and in-house projects. Our mission is to bridge the gap between advanced technology and market-ready solutions, driving innovation at every step.

We are currently seeking a Software Project Manager to join our team in Delft, the Netherlands . In this role, you will oversee software development projects for scientific applications , working with international clients to push the boundaries of big data image analytics and embedded systems. Our projects focus on intelligent processing of imaging payload data from spaceborne and airborne platforms, leveraging state-of-the-art techniques to deliver scalable, automated solutions.

  • Lead end-to-end project execution , ensuring successful delivery for international and national clients.
  • Manage customer relationships , identifying opportunities for new work and handling commercial proposals and negotiations.
  • Coordinate and organize teamwork across multiple projects while balancing customer expectations with S(&)T’s operational and financial interests.
  • Oversee project administration, including budget tracking, financial reporting, and subcontractor management.
  • Ensure clear communication on project progress, deliverables, and financials to all stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, including planning, costing, and work package management.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5-8 years of project management experience, ideally as a second or third career step, with a strong commercial mindset and experience in client relationship management.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships , negotiating contracts (fixed price, fixed budget, Agile), and handling scope changes.
  • Background in the space industry (ESA, EUMETSAT, EUTELSAT) with familiarity with ECSS standards .
  • Experience managing software development projects and system engineering, ideally for large, multi-year projects.
  • A project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or IPMA) and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Technical or commercial educational background (at a BSc level or higher) with fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).

What we look for
  • Laurea magistrale in ingegneria informatica, informatica, gestionale o preparazione equivalente.
  • Pregressa esperienza di tre-cinque anni in attività di project management, analisi e consulenza funzionale per i requisiti del cliente; preferibilmente presso software house.
  • Conoscenze tecniche informatiche di base e in ambito Artificial Intelligence (in particolare generativa) che consentano di interagire al meglio con i team di sviluppo e AI, documentando i requisiti funzionali, e di seguire integralmente il ciclo di vita del progetto.
  • Capacità di analisi funzionale di problematiche complesse, di raccolta e di descrizione dei requisiti, di consulenza al cliente;

Per start-up innovativa operante nello sviluppo software per il mondo della sostenibilità, con sede in provincia di Venezia.

ATTIVITÀ ASSEGNATE:
  1. Gestire l'intero ciclo del progetto, fungendo da riferimento principale per il Cliente;
  2. Coordinare il team di lavoro, con particolare attenzione alla gestione delle attività e alla definizione delle modalità per soddisfare eventuali nuove richieste del Cliente;
  3. Collaborare con la Direzione Tecnica e la Direzione Commerciale per garantire il corretto svolgimento delle attività;
  4. Analizzare i requisiti del Cliente per individuare la miglior strategia di sostenibilità, in base agli obiettivi ESG e redigere la blue print, in collaborazione con il Consulente Applicativo;
  5. Definire il piano di progetto, monitorare i tempi e la qualità delle attività;
  6. Assicurarsi della corretta stesura della documentazione progettuale;
  7. Garantire, in collaborazione con il Team e il Cliente, la parametrizzazione corretta del sistema e validare i risultati ottenuti attraverso la reportistica;
  8. Coordinare la formazione delle risorse del Cliente;
  9. Partecipare alle riunioni di stato avanzamento lavori e riportare i risultati alla Direzione Commerciale e Tecnica.
REQUISITI RICHIESTI:
  1. Esperienza di almeno 5 anni in ruoli affini e competenza sulle tematiche relative al Controllo di Gestione;
  2. Ottime capacità analitiche, di data management e problem solving;
  3. Conoscenza di strumenti di Business Intelligence, in particolare Microsoft Power BI;
  4. Esperienza nella gestione e coordinamento di team;
  5. Forte propensione a lavorare in team e a supportare il cambiamento di paradigma presso il Cliente;
  6. Curiosità e coinvolgimento nell’approccio a temi innovativi e sostenibili;
  7. Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese, sia scritta che parlata;
  8. Disponibilità a svolgere attività presso la sede del Cliente, quando necessario.
INQUADRAMENTO:

Siamo alla ricerca di un candidato per il ruolo di Project Manager & Analyst per progetti di analisi, realizzazione e delivery di soluzioni software innovative e AI based per la gestione dei processi dei clienti.

La risorsa si occuperà della gestione dei progetti nel loro intero ciclo di vita: analisi dei requisiti funzionali e di progetto, gestione delle risorse del progetto e rispetto delle pianificazioni operative e di budget, delivery al cliente, supporto all’avvio.


Cosa cerchiamo:


  • Laurea magistrale in ingegneria informatica, informatica, gestionale o preparazione equivalente.
  • Pregressa esperienza di tre-cinque anni in attività di project management, analisi e consulenza funzionale per i requisiti del cliente; preferibilmente presso software house.
  • Conoscenze tecniche informatiche di base e in ambito Artificial Intelligence (in particolare generativa) che consentano di interagire al meglio con i team di sviluppo e AI, documentando i requisiti funzionali, e di seguire integralmente il ciclo di vita del progetto.
  • Capacità di analisi funzionale di problematiche complesse, di raccolta e di descrizione dei requisiti, di consulenza al cliente;
  • Conoscenza di metodologie di project management (PMP, Agile, SCRUM) ed esperienza di applicazione pratica;
  • Capacità di relazione sia verso il cliente che verso il team interno;
  • Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.

  • Certificazioni professionali in ambito project management.
