  • Implementare e diffondere le metodologie Lean (VSM, 5S, 5W, Ishikawa, SMED, TPM, ecc.) a supporto del miglioramento e della standardizzazione dei processi;
  • Supportare il miglioramento delle attività mediante il monitoraggio, l’analisi ed il controllo dei risultati, operando a stretto contatto con le aree di riferimento;

Requisiti e competenze

Il/La candidato/a ideale è in possesso di laurea ad indirizzo economico o ingegneristico e ha un’ottima padronanza del pacchetto Office, con particolare riferimento a Microsoft Excel. Conosce le metodologie Lean Production e Six Sigma.

Costituiscono requisito preferenziale una discreta conoscenza di Microsoft AX e una pregressa esperienza, anche breve, in analoga mansione.

Completano il profilo: ottime doti analitiche, capacità organizzative, proattività, buone capacità relazionali e predisposizione per il lavoro in Team.

The candidate will be responsible for executing assigned project activities, ensuring their accurate and timely completion, and building reports to track project progress and results. Additionally, the candidate will lead specific projects, overseeing their execution and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and lead cross-functional projects related to the Engineering Division.
  • Enhance Group efficiency through process assessment, mapping, and promoting information exchange across functions.
  • Drive change within the Group, ensuring consistent application of standards and best practices.
  • Continuously improve knowledge in Project Management, Change Management, LEAN principles, and methodologies, and promote knowledge sharing across the Group.
Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree (preferably in Management, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management and process improvement, preferably in Engineering and Manufacturing firms

  • Ability to multitask and organize your own work efforts.
  • Strong communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally to drive solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL to source data for global reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • (APICS or CPM)
  • Working knowledge of order processing systems, inventory management and material planning software (Oracle preferred)
  • Experienced with Microsoft Power BI and Power Query
  • Familiar with Smart Sheets
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle to source data for global reporting

Position

An Operational Excellence Engineer is responsible for driving efficiency, process improvement, and organizational excellence within the company. The role focuses on enhancing business operations to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction while reducing waste and costs. All of that will be supported by the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

You will work closely with the Operational Excellence Manager to define objectives and needs for improvements within Celli Group. In detail:

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to improve cost, efficiency, and performance.
  • Analyze and review workflow processes by identifying gaps against set objectives.
  • Define continuous improvement targets together with the leadership team and report performance to the leadership team.
  • Identify and measure KPIs for quality, productivity, costs, and service delivery.
  • Liaise with internal/external networks to bring best practices to lean projects and the organization.
  • Deliver training classes for Lean processes and principles, providing coaching and mentoring to employees on Lean principles and techniques.
  • Support Green Belts in the development of their projects and sponsors and management in identifying and prioritizing the best opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure open communication throughout the organization by keeping management informed on project status and ensuring coordination among OE activities.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring project goals, objectives, and metrics to ensure they are being met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least three years' experience gained in medium-sized manufacturing companies or in consulting companies engaged in continuous improvement processes.
  • A Black Belt is considered a plus.

Chiesi Global Manufacturing Division

Chiesi Group has three production plants: Parma (Italy); Blois-La Chaussée-Saint-Victor (France); Santana de Parnaíba (Brazil). The plants produce a total of over 110 million units per year.

The production plant in Parma covers a total area of more than fifteen thousand square meters and it is the strategic hub for the production and distribution of our products, being an international supply center that exports to more than 80 countries. The Parma plant produces solid medicinal products, such as tablets and inhaled dry powders; inhalation solutions and suspensions, either pressurized or sterile single-dose vials; vials of sterile suspension for endotracheal administration; liquid forms such as drops, syrups and nasal sprays.

Santana produces pressurized solutions and suspensions for inhalant therapy (MDIs) and supplies both domestic market and Group’s Affiliates and exports to licensees and distributors. Blois specializes in Dry Powder Inhalers and final assembly stages of the Metered-Dose Inhalers (MDIs), supplies Group’s Affiliates and distributes directly to clients at a local level and in export markets.

The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for leading and implementing initiatives that drive continuous improvement, enhance operational efficiency and ensure high-quality standards across the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing projects and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

- Project Leadership : Lead and manage operational excellence projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Performance Metrics : Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational excellence initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Engineering, to ensure a unified approach to operational excellence.
- Training and Development : Provide training and support to employees on operational excellence principles and tools to build internal capabilities.
- Data Analysis : Use data-driven approaches to analyze performance, uncover trends and make informed decisions to drive improvements.
- Cost Efficiency : Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs without compromising quality or performance.
- Change Management : Facilitate and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and acceptance of new processes and technologies.
- Customer Focus : Align operational strategies with customer needs to enhance customer satisfaction both internal and external.

Experience Required

At least 5 years' experience in an Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement role within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.

Languages

Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies;
- Proven ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights;
- Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing process improvements.

Who are we looking for



For our warehouse we are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager.

The focus of this position is to support distribution center operations to meet HS&E and Quality requirements by working on improvement projects to deliver effective processes and meet and achieve company standards.



Responsibilities and functions:

Identify, manage and implement improvement projects to optimize warehouse performance in terms of productivity and quality.

Working on continuous improvement’s projects by following the Lean methodology.

Train and develop employees on tools such as 6S, continuous improvement processes and data-driven decision making.

Improve quality and safety requirements

Manage and plan demand and track monthly forecasts.

Define courses of action for inventory, monitor performance, align goals with Finance and Supply Chain, and manage and follow up to resolve errors.

Definition of Service Level Agreement-SLA, definition and management of delivery programs, definition of warehouse guidelines, performance monitoring, facilitation of collaboration meetings with the various departments of the company, promotion of improvement activities

Ensure compliance to all relevant policies and legislation in all activities

Act as EHS responsible for DC

Act as Management Representative for DC (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)





Requirements:

Degree in Management Engineering or similar

Experience in continuous improvement projects in the supply chain

Knowledge of Power BI, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Familiar with quality, environmental and health and safety standards, with experience in a distribution center.

Excellent technical and practical experience in project management.

Experience in lean / process improvement in a warehouse environment

Simplicity and hands-on mentality

  • Implementare e diffondere le metodologie Lean (VSM, 5S, 5W, Ishikawa, SMED, TPM, ecc.) a supporto del miglioramento e della standardizzazione dei processi;
  • Supportare il miglioramento delle attività mediante il monitoraggio, l’analisi ed il controllo dei risultati, operando a stretto contatto con le aree di riferimento;
  • Sviluppare un sistema di elaborazione, gestione ed analisi dei KPI relativi alla performance dei processi produttivi (OEE, Top 5 Losses, Lead time, Saturazioni linee, Produttività, ecc.) da utilizzare a supporto del flusso decisionale;
  • Gestire progetti e Team working di miglioramento utilizzando le metodologie Lean;
  • Agire come facilitatore dello sviluppo del miglioramento continuo in azienda e del change management.

Requisiti e competenze

Il/La candidato/a ideale è in possesso di laurea ad indirizzo economico o ingegneristico e ha un’ottima padronanza del pacchetto Office, con particolare riferimento a Microsoft Excel. Conosce le metodologie Lean Production e Six Sigma.

Costituiscono requisito preferenziale una discreta conoscenza di Microsoft AX e una pregressa esperienza, anche breve, in analoga mansione.

Completano il profilo: ottime doti analitiche, capacità organizzative, proattività, buone capacità relazionali e predisposizione per il lavoro in Team.
