Overview of the Role :
Nuveen Infrastructure’s Clean Energy team focuses on raising and investing clean energy private equity and debt funds and has been operating for over 15 years with c.€5bn raised to date across its various strategies. Favoured technologies include onshore and offshore wind, solar photovoltaics and battery storage.
Our Clean Energy team’s core focus is on clean energy equity investments, credit investments, asset & portfolio management, and investor relations. The team is located across its key offices in London, Madrid, Milan, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, and Charlotte.
Given the continuing growth of the Clean Energy business, Nuveen Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Associate to support the investor relations and sales efforts of team. Nuveen Infrastructure is preparing to come to market with our 5th vintage global clean energy flagship strategy, our European open-ended core renewables strategy, as well as our third vintage debt strategy As the team expands, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a collegial environment to help drive clean energy fundraising and deliver a purposeful client experience.
The team works closely with institutional investors globally as well as investment advisors, and the function is an integral part of the client journey.

Key responsibilities will include :
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to broaden Nuveen Infrastructure’s client base globally
- Work collaboratively with wider Nuveen Infrastructure Investor Relations and Global Client Group teams as well as external agents to drive new business opportunities
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of incumbent manager searches;
- Participate in the origination and coordination of sales leads, arrangement of meetings as well as meeting preparation and engagement activity for external clients (collating background information on previous meetings and prospect / client information);
- Understand current and new client relationships, their asset allocation preferences and assisting sales team with upcoming trends and investment behaviours through market research
- Oversee and manage the coordination of key meetings / events with clients and prospects, attending relevant meetings / conferences / events;
- Respond to client requests and manage client communications efforts, where necessary;
- Coordinate the Request for Proposal process, working with investment affiliates to cover breadth of investment products and solutions;
- Work with relevant Nuveen stakeholder to oversee the on-boarding and oversight of new clients through the relevant due diligence
- Maintain client / internal information in CRM tool (Salesforce) and across various databases and systems;
- Develop strong internal relationships with portfolio managers, asset management and other teams globally to enhance delivery of our services to clients;
- Work closely with the marketing team on new product launch initiatives, client events and communications.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Prior experience in Investor Relations and / or fundraising functions is preferred, but other backgrounds will also be considered (investment banking, private equity, asset management).
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative tools to analyse, synthesize and interpret information, and communicate it clearly
- Coordinate various data and information into effective messaging that resonates with internal and external clients
- Undergraduate and / or postgraduate degree required
- Fluent English required with additional European languages preferred
- Interest in the renewable energy is a prerequisite and relevant experience and existing industry knowledge is an advantage
- Professional and industrious attitude, possessing energy and confidence to complete projects with limited supervision
- Take initiative and develop creative solutions for solving problems
- Interact and communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of management, including executive management of the firm, as well as external clients

- Impostazione e avvio di pratiche per l’ottenimento di incentivi ad esempio certificati bianchi, conto termico 2.0, detrazioni fiscali, bandi locali;
- Supporto all’implementazione di sistemi di gestione dell’energia anche conformi alla ISO 50001;
- Supporto alla redazione di offerte e contratti di servizi di efficienza energetica;

- Certificazione di Esperto in Gestione dell’Energia secondo la UNI CEI 11339 civile e/o industriale;
- Almeno 2/3 anni di esperienza nel settore dei servizi energetici;
