Director, Talent Management & Culture Job Location : Chicago Want to make an impact?

We're on the lookout for a Director of Talent Management & Culture to be at the sweetest part of our organization : the heart. This role will develop and execute our talent management strategy, reporting to the VP of Talent Management and DEI. The Director will work closely with People Business Partners and business leaders to implement our talent strategy across all locations. This individual will drive transformational programs and processes that set Ferrara apart on our journey to becoming the global leader in sugar confections. Additionally, this role will focus on cultivating a high-performance culture by aligning talent management strategies with our organizational values and defining leadership behaviors that exemplify those values.

This role is located at our headquarters at the Old Post Office in downtown Chicago and aligns to our hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Demonstrated experience in change management that positively impacts company culture.

This role is located at our headquarters at the Old Post Office in downtown Chicago and aligns to our hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Experiences that will support your success

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience : 10-15 years in HR, including at least 7 years in a senior talent management role, with a proven track record of developing and executing transformational talent management programs that align with business objectives. Demonstrated experience in change management that positively impacts company culture.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $127,600 - $178,600 annually.

Support the evolution, implementation, and maintenance of IFF’s Talent Management process ecosystem, with an emphasis on career planning, critical role succession management, and successor development. This role partners with the Director, Talent Management and Leadership Development to support organizational and employee needs, driving interconnected talent processes aligned with workforce plans and business strategy. The position significantly influences how we deliver our Talent Philosophy and employee relationships with IFF.

Responsibilities
  1. Talent Management Process Support
  2. Assist in expanding IFF’s talent processes, aligned with our Talent Philosophy and workforce plans.
  3. Support the execution of talent processes, especially integrated talent reviews.
  4. Perform analysis and reporting on TM programs to assess performance and effectiveness.
  5. Partner with HR leaders for process improvement and best practices.
  6. Translate process outcomes into actionable insights.
  7. Engage with internal stakeholders regularly.
Leader Succession and Analysis
  1. Identify critical roles and develop success profiles.
  2. Manage career journey and ladder development, supporting effective career conversations.
  3. Collaborate with Talent Managers and HR leaders to develop development plans and expand talent pipelines.
  4. Address pipeline challenges through stakeholder collaboration.
Project Management
  1. Support talent management events and calendar integration.
  2. Develop communications, presentations, and materials.
  3. Manage projects for career guidebooks and critical role identification.
  4. Support Regional Talent Councils to enhance development opportunities.
Job Requirements
  • Degree with 5+ years in talent management; Master’s preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, facilitation abilities.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, project management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and drawing insights.
  • Knowledge of Talent Management theories and tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Excel.
