Key role of the Hardware Test Engineer is to work in a global environment to validate and bring to production complex and dense electronic blades with high-speed signals and complex ASICS and Optical Components.
The Hardware Test Engineer will interface with several cross-functional teams like HW Design, SW Design, Manufacturing and Product Engineering to develop high quality products.
Moreover, the HW Test Engineer plays a key role in ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of the HW Products throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities :
- Validate the compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards and test performances of Optical HW devices such as muxponders, amplifiers, pluggable components used in DWDM systems.
- Define the test process and procedure, write complete unit and system-level test plans for the unit and / or the entire product line.
- Implement unit and system-level testing, debug, isolate, analyze sophisticated problems, and help facilitate the root cause, resolution, and closure.
- Executing tests to identify defects and malfunctions in the system.
- Analyzing test results to identify issues and root causes.
- Support HW / SW Design Engineers and provide feedback on complex issues.
- Documenting test results, defects, and fixes in a clear and concise manner.
- Reporting on test progress and results to stakeholders.
