  • Deliver consistently accurate (100%) quarterly , monthly and weekly forecasting for the complete product portfolio within the assigned sales district.

  • Establish and nurture a strong, unified Sales team environment and ensure that all team members conduct themselves with a strong sense of comprehensive teamwork, cooperation and commitment to develop, manage, nurture and expand customer relationships across the geography.

  • Consistently monitor key competitive and market dynamics for growth opportunities , business threats, and develop appropriate countermeasures.

  • Partner with leaders of other functions including Sales Administration, Finance, IT, HR and Legal as necessary to deliver expected results, while leading through the DHR Core Behaviors and ensure 100% compliance in all aspects of business conduct.

  • Manages, coordinates, coaches and develops members of the team; regularly monitors and audits progress towards performance objectives and development goals while providing feedback on a regular basis; develop associate talent within the team to ensure effective career development and succession planning.

The essential requirements of the job include:   

  • Travel required/Valid Passport/Valid Driver's License:

  • Travel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, up to 30-50% overnight travel may be required.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Communication skills and the ability to communicate our value proposition to customers, based on changing customer needs and a bility to work effectively in a matrix environment.

  • Interpret and explain our competitive landscape to compete in the market and achieve sales target.

  • Understanding of Life Science products and instrumentation and our markets preferred. Usage of SCIEX instrumentation and software is a plus.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:  

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience

  • Completion of additional college level courses in sales or marketing are desirable.

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for taking care the of service business in the specific area assigned to him/her.

This position is part of the Life Sciences Service Department office located in Milano area.

This position reports to The Country Field Service Leader and is part of the Life Science Field Service Team In Italy, located in Milano Area and will be 65% remote and 35% on-site role. In this role you will cover installed base in the North of Italy and sometimes you will support your colleague also in other areas of the country.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure corrective and preventative intervention and qualification on time and with the expected level of quality.
  • Deliver effective and constructive communication with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ensure the management activities of your task.
  • Contribute to Business development.
  • Contribute to improvement and innovation project.
  • Manage installation of complex projects in integrated solutions
  • Manage in-house repair and calibration

The essential requirements for the job include: 

  • High school diploma or university degree in electronic engineering or similar
  • 2/3 years of experience within automated workstation (preferably in medical environment).
  • Full understanding of automated workflows.
  • Ability to Troubleshoot hardware and software problem in automated systems.
  • Knowledge of the standard procedure and process in the labs.
  • Familiarity with working in sterile or controlled environments.
  • English language with a minimum level B2

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel at least 65% of the time including, overnight, within North Italy and for training purpose in Europe
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30kg and  good manual skills  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Previous experience in Centrifugation, Automation, Flow Cytometry repair instruments

As a Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Life Science you will be responsible for providing high-quality onsite customer support and representing the face of the company to our customers. Conducting routine maintenance, installation, and repair of Beckman Coulter products at customer sites, including calibration, and mechanical and electrical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts and production of Installation/Operation Quality documents. Diagnosing system failures and determines the most cost-effective solution and escalating complex issues to a greater level of technical support or quality reporting system.

This position reports to the Davide Bortolotti, Field Service Manager and is part of the customer Support department working remotely to cover Northern Italy .  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responding to customer support calls and provide field support within your assigned territory and escalating complex issues as required to ensure a timely fix. Diagnosing system failures and determining the most cost-effective resolution
  • Ensuring Preventative Maintenance Inspections and modifications are completed within the specified time frames.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, debriefing and reports and maintaining accurate car inventory.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma or university degree in electronic engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in high-tech research instruments service
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time including, overnight, within north of Italy and for training purpose in Europe
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

A day in the life
You’ll be based at one of our operational sites, which allows you to give practical guidance to your team and get a clear vision of what’s happening at your site. This involves collecting data and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also have a chance to create an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient. That will involve setting up new projects that improve everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance. After safety, the most important part of the role is leading your team and managing their performance and development, including organising additional training.

About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.

Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Relevant experience a part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processes
• R levant experience in managing people in an engineering team
• R levant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a variety of stakeholders including third-party vendors
• A vanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediate proficiency in local language

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager, you’ll bring together the elements that make our working environment as supportive and efficient as possible. Your focus will be to lead and mentor a team of expert technicians dedicated to equipment reliability.

Key job responsibilities
• Support colleagues in site compliance with safety policies and procedures
• mplement EU network standards, plan preventative maintenance and ensure technical availability
• C llaborate with colleagues to collect and analyse data to improve processes
• D liver and support both site-based and network-level projects
• L ad, support and mentor your team to develop their career


A day in the life
You’ll be based at one of our operational sites, which allows you to give practical guidance to your team and get a clear vision of what’s happening at your site. This involves collecting data and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also have a chance to create an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient. That will involve setting up new projects that improve everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance. After safety, the most important part of the role is leading your team and managing their performance and development, including organising additional training.

About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.

Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of cutting-edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Relevant experience a part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processes
• R levant experience in managing people in an engineering team
• R levant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a variety of stakeholders including third-party vendors
• A vanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediate proficiency in local language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above, we’d love to hear from you.

• A d gree in Engineering or another technical field
• A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTEC National Diploma (OND), Ieng, CEng or ILM L4+
• E perience of working with statutory regulations such as compliance checks and machine safety protocols
• E perience in automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems
• E perience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
• E perience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes
• E perience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
