In this role, you will be a vital member of the global employee communications team, reporting to the Global Employee Communications Lead. You will spearhead global projects and lead communications efforts for Italy. Your responsibilities for Italy will include managing communications for both global office workers and local factory workers. You will be working closely with the Italian location lead and the Italian HR business partner. Based in Valdarno, Italy, at our factory and global distribution hub, you will play a crucial role in fostering a unified and engaged workforce.
Your responsibilities:
- Here are the five most important responsibilities for the Senior Manager Employee Communications:
- Audience-Centric Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies for both global office workers and local factory workers, tailoring messages to suit different audiences.
- Local Employee Communications Management: Take charge of all internal communication efforts for Italy, ensuring alignment with global strategies while addressing local needs.
- Strategic Advisor to Local leadership: Serve as the key communications partner to local leadership, providing expert guidance on developing, executing and measuring strategic employee communications initiatives designed to foster a high-performance culture and drive employee engagement at all levels.
- Change Communications Leadership: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive change communications plans to effectively manage organizational transformation ensuring employees are well-informed, supported, and motivated to embrace the new ways of working.

Qualifications:
- Background : Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. You are fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.
- Experience : At least 7 years of proven experience in communications, with a minimum of 4 years specifically in internal communications, or a related field with close collaboration with HR, preferably in both global and organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for employee communications and a strong track record of working closely with senior leadership, including C-suite executives, to craft and implement strategic communication initiatives. Experience in the EV or technology sector is advantageous.
- Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead and manage communication projects and teams, with a track record of successful project execution.

- Manage and update technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
- Oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines and/or facilities. Collaborate with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new production lines and consultations on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of the above equipment.
- Plan and control of on-site/outside of calibration activities. Team up with Engineering / Testing team to define calibration requirements to reach quality standard. Including supplier scouting to support the above activities.
- Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption to the production process.
- Generate purchase requests for non-stocked parts and tools to support maintenance/calibration actives
- Propose continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational processes
- Implement health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives to ensure the safety of people and resources.

Your Background:

Your ResponsibilitiesThis role is designed for an engineer who is not only a testing expert but also a strategic thinker, capable of influencing product design and elevating our testing practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Automate Test Systems: Design, code, and implement robust and scalable test systems (both hardware and software) to validate PCBA assembly and functionality, minimizing manual intervention.
- Contribute to Design for Testability (DFT): Work closely with design teams to embed testability into the core of our products, ensuring they are inherently easier and more efficient to test.
- Foster Technical Excellence: Actively contribute to refining our testing methodologies and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Evolve Our Test Platform: Drive the definition, design, and implementation of our next-generation test platform, ensuring it is scalable, flexible, and robust enough to support our growing product portfolio.
- Drive Quality Throughout the Product Lifecycle: Represent the Testing Engineering team throughout the entire product development process. From defining initial requirements to the final validation, you will be the voice of quality and testability.
- Achieve and Exceed Quality Targets: Your ultimate goal is to ensure our manufacturing processes are highly efficient and effective. You will be instrumental in driving initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Degree or high school diploma in electronic engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing test systems for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
- In-depth competence in testing techniques such as In-Circuit Test (ICT), Boundary Scan (JTAG), and functional testing.
- Solid experience with benchtop instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and low-level programming is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills at both the software and hardware levels.
