As an International Trainee Program (ELSE) participant, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start. The exceptional people you work with, the challenging projects you tackle, and the regional scale (EMEA Region) of our business will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in our Service-Electrification division. The program with a permanent position is made up of three assignments in different roles all in Service division, starting from the month of September: one six-month assignment in the area of Marketing and Sales (region Area) as as an n introduction to the business in Dalmine Plant. One six-month assignment with different activities in Product Marketing where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function. One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
**This position reports to**:
Service Sales Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Prepare ABB s Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local Service ProductMarketing&Sales support.
- Elaborating competitive bids/estimations/quotations, taking into account best available product mix and value proposition.
- Analyzing product & market; cooperating with colleagues (i.e. Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Sup-ply Chain, ).
- Marketing&Sales activities: supporting PMS Activities, pricing activities, promote and sell entire service product portfolio; Promote Service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings, ).
- Generate and develop new market or segment opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios; implement service sales strategy in collaboration with the Data analyst specialist, Ser-vice Product Marketing, Marketing&Sales Manager.
- Manage and communicate contract details to the customers.
- Manage administrative sales processes and prepare all required technical documents; ensure technical reliability, safety and cost effective solutions to satisfy customer s needs.
- Collecting and analyzing the reasons for tenders being lost and won; developing customer relationships to understand their needs and to ensure high level of satisfaction.
**Your background**:
- You are a recent graduate (Master’s level) in Electro-technical, Management, Information and Production engineering.
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of Sales Force and LV & MV switchgears.
- You master the English language (B2), you have a good knowledge of Italian and other languages are a plus.
- Excellent command of MS Office tools.
- Availability for business trip is required (70%-80%).
- Customer-orientation, excellent skills, problem-solving attitude and ability to work and communicate effi-ciently in a team, proactivity, precision and high motivation, negotiation and build long-term relationships with customers complete your profile.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Contract Management within the Procurement department, the trainee will play an important role in supporting best contract management practices and systems to achieve excellence in operations.

Main Responsibilities- Contract Lifecycle Management: Support the team with ongoing commercial contract management post contract award (claims, variation orders, amendments, defects, notice to correct, LDs).
- Safeguarding Obligations: Support in managing payments to strategic suppliers in collaboration with the project team.
- Vendor Management: Support suppliers’ qualification and performance under live contracts and support resolution of contractual disputes and commercial settlements.
- Offer Management: Analyse and compare Contractors’ offers for O&M Services and Suppliers’ offers for Services and Strategic Components supply.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Liaise closely with other operational departments and especially Asset Management and Asset Maintenance, providing support to resolve any contractor performance discrepancies.
- Procurement: Support the procurement of certain key technical services and strategic equipment, including equipment and services for reliability & improvement initiatives.
- Asset Management: Support the Asset Management and Asset Procurement teams in the definition of O&M strategies and negotiation of new O&M Contracts.
Education
- Degree in Law, Business Administration, or Management
- Fluent in English (knowledge of a second language is a plus)
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Planning, organizing, and time management abilities
- Ability to prepare contractual assessments and reports
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (especially Word and Excel)
- Ability to foster and maintain strategic relationships through strong interpersonal skills

The role, located in Bergamo, You will support the Digital program manager to definition and manage the roadmap, checking cross-cultural programs or projects and development teams, ensuring stakeholder or sponsor communications. **This position reports to**:
Digital Lead
**Your responsibilities**:
- Support to the Digital program manager. Follow the Digital process.
- Help in the Digital roadmap definition activities. Monitor the Digital roadmap, checking status of activities. Highlight issue and try to unblock the problem.
- Learn to use devOps tool.
- Help to manage some Digital meeting (definition agenda, creation of the support material, meeting plan, minute definition).
- Work in a cross-discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team’s activities.
- Work in an international team and communicate in English on daily basis.
**Your background**:
- Student in engineering, information technologies or economics.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Knowledge of Software lifecycle is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools, in particular the knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
- Attitude to the problem solving and analysis.
