Necessary Requirements
3 years of experience in managing the maintenance of building/brickwork/facilities and/or installation.

The project consists of coordinating, mentoring and supervising local technical staff. The Building Maintenance Technician will work in close collaboration with the team responsible for technical management, within the Technical Office of the Project, and will report directly to the Hospital Manager and functionally to the Technical Division of EMERGENCY (HQ Milan).

The collaboration consists in the performance of the following activities at the “Salam” Centre for Cardiac Surgery in Khartoum and other EMERGENCY Paediatric Centres in Sudan .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure maintenance of buildings in hospital and residential environments;
• Ensure adherence to the maintenance schedule shared with the Technical Division;
• Manage defects and maintain facilities;
• Ensure the presence of up-to-date technical documentation within his/her area of responsibility;
• Ensure safe working conditions for the teams under his/her own lead;
• Manage material orders and service contracts by area of competence in close collaboration with the Hospital Manager and the Technical Division;
• Manage technical warehouses with attention and share managerial work with the Hospital Manager;
• Contribute to the professional training of maintenance technicians;
• Carry out the building of new structures, adaptations and constructions according to the needs of the project, in collaboration with the Hospital Manager and the Technical Division;
• Guarantee availability for short missions in other EMERGENCY projects in case of need;
• Follow all the necessary activities for the success of the project;

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree;
• Previous experience in managing the maintenance of building/brickwork/facilities and/or installation of at least 3 years;
• Aptitude for coordinating a team of maintenance technicians;
• Previous experience in staff management;
• Good knowledge of the English language (minimum level B2).

REQUIRED AVAILABILITY

6 months of stay abroad including a period of paid leave to be agreed with the Area Director.

• Purpose of the job :
• Design and own the global AMOC (Amazon Maintenance Operations Center) BBM (Base Build Maintenance) long-term strategies, setting a vision, roles and responsibilities and clear goals for the team.
• Recruit, build, inspire and motivate a new team that can work towards common goals.

• Serve as the main point of escalation for complex mechanical and refrigeration issues, be able to facilitate cross-functional meetings, listen intensely, establish the facts and make key decisions.
• Deliver the implementation and maintenance of rigorous quality control standards for SOP's and training.
• Implement meeting routines, KPI's and mechanism's that will ensure, work processes, systems, vendors, quality, productivity, training and labor management are met.
• Collaborate with category procurement and stakeholders to ensure that productive contracts and SLAs are in place with 3P vendors. Maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with other RME teams to ensure best practices are implemented for inventory management, reliability initiatives to optimize mechanical and refrigeration asset up-time across the network.

• Bachelor's degree or an indentured Engineers Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Proven experience in building / facilities management.
• Strong experience leading and developing large teams (strategic leadership).
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, refrigeration, and building infrastructure.

The Facility Management Specialist will be the right hand of the Facility Manager, supporting in planning, organizing, and executing assigned projects, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines and budgets. Main Responsibilities:

1. Support in defining timelines and procedures for the maintenance of buildings and structures.
2. Coordination of internal and external teams responsible for services, considering budget constraints.
3. Organization and control of activities to meet business needs.
4. Supervision and assurance of the proper functioning of utilities: heating and cooling systems, electrical, water, fire protection, gas, and compressed air systems.
5. Coordination of external suppliers and services (cleaning, waste management, reception, mail security, internal logistics, canteen).
6. Support in managing current and under-construction sites.
7. Performing administrative tasks (entering purchase requests into the management system).
8. Reporting for budget and consumption analysis.
9. Drawing with Autocad for layout drafting.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Surveying or Degree in Civil or Building Engineering/Architecture.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in studio (administrative and construction site).
3. Knowledge of SAP and Office.
4. Knowledge of Autocad.

• Servizi di manutenzione impianti tecnici e cross selling dei servizi delle altre società del Gruppo Fervo (Verde, Edile, Soft FM), garantendo una solida collaborazione con tutto il team delle vendite, nel rispetto delle policy aziendali e KPI assegnati.

• Solide competenze ed esperienza nella stesura e presentazione di offerte commerciali per la vendita di Servizi complessi e a significativo valore aggiunto;
• Comprovata esperienza nella vendita di Servizi alle Imprese e a privati;
• Conoscenza approfondita del tessuto imprenditoriale locale nel territorio assegnato;
• Gradita conoscenza della lingua inglese a livello B2 (o superiore).
