Mission

Organise, coordinate and control the execution of themechanicalworks, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments, overseeing the availability of the construction materials and equipment and verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.
Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.

Tasks

Supports the HSE Manager for the aspect falling within his area of responsibilities and for the preparation of the general HSE plan.
Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
Actively contributes to Safety Walk downs. In case of incidents contributes to investigations.
Verifies that theCommissioning& Start-up requirements are accounted in the engineering documents.
Takes part in project planning & scheduling.
Reviews the Vendors schedule and assignment, concerning theCommissioning, Start-up and test run activities.
Follow-up of completions andCommissioningactivities.
Issues progress reports within his area of responsibility.
Contributes to the planning and scheduling of the job routines of the Maintenance Plan of the project, assign resources, materials and logistics.
Through his team, responsible of the Preventive Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance.
Coordinates Vendors at site within his own operating area.
Approves work orders as per Permit to Work procedure to enable the execution of the scheduled works.
Responsible for the correct implementation of themechanicalisolation control through the Blinding and De-blinding Register.
Takes lead in preparing its personnel through extensive training. Timely report any gaps that need to be bridged.
According to Plant feedbacks, optimizes Maintenance Plan, spare parts and manpower.

Le principali attività sono:

Project Overview

This project aims to collect high-quality visuals of streets, key points of interest, and public spaces across EU countries. Using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidars, drivers will capture comprehensive images of the surroundings. The captured data will be stored on onboard computers (SSD Drives) and later utilized to enhance one of the world’s leading online mapping platforms.

Data collectors will follow pre-assigned routes, focusing on public streets, commercial areas, and points of interest. To ensure the highest image quality, certain areas may need to be revisited during favorable weather conditions.

The duration of the project varies based on the scope of work required in each targeted data collection area. On average, the assignments involve 3 to 6 months of active work.

Work schedule: full time engagement within standard business hours (8 AM - 7 PM).

Saipem is looking for a Project Control Manager , who will be responsible for planning, cost control, documentation management and risk management for an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project in the Oil&Gas and/or plant engineering sector. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in complex projects and should be able to work effectively both in Home-Office basedin Fano and on site in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of a team of 4-6 Project Control resources.
• Development and management of project schedule, including definition of activities, critical paths, project milestones and required resources.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, including estimating at completion, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Management of project documentation, ensuring its accuracy and availability.
• Supporting the identification, assessment and management of project risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans and preparation of project progress reports and presentation to key stakeholders.
  
  

QUALIFICATION: Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent disciplines.

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B1/B2 or above

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Previous experience of at least 5 years in Project Control in EPC projects in the Oil&Gas and/or plant engineering sector.

IT SKILLS: Knowledge of Project Control software (Primavera P6, SAP).

SOFT SKILLS: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.

NICE TO HAVE: Previous experience in Italian construction sites.

The Civil Engineer will support the structural engineering team in the design and development of civil works and steel structures for Oil & Gas plant projects.

The role involves the drafting of technical solutions, calculations, and preparation of execution drawings, as well as the preparation of technical documentation and quantity estimates.

Duties & Responsabilities

• Design of reinforced concrete foundations (proposal and drafting of the technical solution; calculation reports and execution drawings);
• Design of steel structures such as pipe racks, platforms, walkways, pump houses, guard houses, etc. (proposal and drafting of the technical solution; calculation reports and 3d modelling by means of Tekla);
• Preparation of bill of quantities and material take-off;
• Preparation of drawings using AutoCAD (civil works layout, retaining structures, roadworks design, drainage layout, etc.);
• Preparation of technical reports and assessment documentation.

Required Competences

Essential Qualifications:

• Good to excellent knowledge of Tekla, SAP2000, and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Good knowledge of English (minimum level: B2).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Ability to interact with civil department team members and, occasionally, with Client representatives;
• Knowledge of Tekla software;
• Knowledge of Idea Statica;
