JOB TITLE

Workshop/Line Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of the job is to Manage all the manufacturing activities for a project(s) in the Line/Workshop including the responsibilities linked to the position as hierarchical manager of all the employees of the manufacturing organization who belong to this Manufacturing Line/Workshop

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The main responsibilities the phases of the project execution, for the manufacturing activities belonging to the Line/Workshop are.

  • From TTM up to CGR, responsible for
    • Manufacturing contribution to
      • Industrial QCD Management,
      • Supply chain process definition & validation
      • Quality plan validation
      • Industrialization.
    • Manufacturing contribution of EHS risks & Ergonomics analysis
    • Manufacturing preparation of the line/workshop
      • Manufacturing planning preparation (workload, …
      • Manufacturing resources & skills management (staffing, trainings, qualification, …)
      • Industrial process Hand-over from PME to manufacturing
      • APSYS deployment (shop floor tools) preparation,
  • As of CGR up to FQA, is responsible for
    • The finalization of manufacturing preparation of the line/workshop
    • The complete scope of manufacturing activities for the product on the line/workshop, which also includes
      • Intermediate Handover (EPU level) including intermediate applied configuration (= as manufactured), self-inspections, dynamic checklist, NCR, rework, missing parts, waivers/deviations, incomplete operations, …
      • On time, closing of work orders in MES
      • Productive & Nonproductive hours booked in MES of all operators
      • Full APSYS deployment on the line/workshop
    • SQCD performance, and tracking the associated KPI
    • Continuous improvement of SQCD performance
      • Optimizations of workstations via application of APSYS Tools
    • Issues Management
      • Issues are raised in MES on time
      • Animation of corrective action issue (e.g. QRQC)
    • Organization of the execution of changes to the product, (if applicable)
    • Retrofit execution of first trains/products (if applicable)
    • 1st Train(s) /products Manufacturing Feedback to support functions in order to improve SQCD performance

The main responsibilities as hierarchical manager of the employees belonging to the manufacturing line/workshop are

  • Responsible for time management (presence management and activity management) of all employees, and assure compliance with local legislation,
  • Responsible for continuously improving occupational safety, including contractors (if applicable) working for the manufacturing line/workshop,
  • Responsible for the development, which means further development of the qualification matrix for product-related and technology-related processes, as well as general technological and personal qualification,
  • Responsible for the PMC (People Management Cycle) as per local HR policy,
  • Responsible for the implementation and application of the corporate policies (IRIS, EHS, Ethics and Compliance….),

Serial Test Manager/ T&C Line Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Systematic & Efficient handing over of trains from Manufacturing to Testing
  • Manage the Testing Teams on Site
  • To deliver train and documents in accordance with the QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) commitments and customer requirements

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Customer acceptance before commissioning
  • EHS (E nvironment, H ealth, S afety): Zero Fatality and Severe Injuries

  • Responsibilities:
  • Participate in defining clear and exhaustive Train Acceptance Criteria at the time of handing over from Manufacturing.
  • Ensure that EPU Managers and their teams understand the Acceptance Criteria.
  • Ensure deployment of correct and efficient Handing Over procedure by EPU Manager & test technicians.
  • Involve all the right actors as Industrial Quality, PIM, PrTCM (Project T&C Manager), PrQSM to orient the right decisions.
  • Participate & Support in Handing Over of critical trains/projects (typically first and last train).
  • Handle escalations when necessary.
  • Have a clear overview of the test planning of all the projects in the site to ensure it is aligned with site testing capacity/facility and escalate to the management when necessary.
  • Organize weekly review with the EPU Managers on testing KPI’s (QCD) and take actions on critical issues.
  • Monitor and regularly update management & key interfaces about the progress on KPI’S of each project to reach the target QCD.
  • Based on KPI review, follow up on Open points and Improvement actions with the Testing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.
  • Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with: PrTCM, Chief Operation, TVE, PIM, Industrial Quality, Production Line Manager, PrWM, PrQSM to achieve the testing KPI’s.
  • Provides testing teams with the right procedures, tools and facilities.
  • Ensure that test reports are clearly documented, up to date and on time.
  • Ensure that trains are fully tested and complete before delivery and in case of deviations (key missing parts) take appropriate actions.
  • Manage and Forecast the testing workload and adapt capacity accordingly.
  • Manage competencies: through identification of critical competencies and ensure right trainings are delivered.
  • Communicate and cascade information to the site testing teams.
  • Manage conflicts and disputes within the department.
  • Ensures T&C activities and operating areas comply with Site EHS requirements including TTO.
  • Reports Deviations, Near-misses and Accidents.
  • Demonstrates excellent EHS behavior.
  • Accountable for EHS Compliance within the test area.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within process industry, railways or factory automation and minimum 2 years’ experience in Test Engineering (T&C Methods)
  • Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements
  • Have a good understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (in particular earthing & bonding, cabling, protection and instrumentation, …)
  • Strong leadership; result-driven mindset
  • Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (product engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial functions…)

La figura professionale costituisce un raccordo fondamentale del nostro management tecnico - operativo in grado di creare una strategia commerciale nella gestione del mercato di riferimento, di coordinare, con efficienza, le risorse assegnate ai punti vendita di cui è responsabile, di partecipare pro-attivamente al processo di gestione economica (all' occorrenza, fornendo dati sull' andamento commerciale di cui è territorialmente competente, monitorando le performance e il rendimento del personale assegnato).

Il candidato ideale, previa formazione on the job, sarà incaricato delle seguenti attività:

Responsabilità
  • Supervisionare i punti vendita di cui è territorialmente competente, garantendo e monitorando il raggiungimento degli obiettivi prefissati, gli standard qualitativi aziendali e la corretta applicazione delle norme sulla sicurezza e igienico- sanitarie;
  • Con il supporto della direzione centrale e del responsabile commerciale, gestire e coordinare il personale assegnato in conformità alle direttive aziendali, ai vincoli normativi e ai contratti di lavoro (organizzazione orari di lavoro, piani ferie etc.);
  • Riportare direttamente al Responsabile commerciale e alla direzione centrale fornendo dati, informazioni e report per lo sviluppo di una strategia commerciale condivisa;
  • Gestire e coordinare il personale assegnato in conformità alle direttive aziendali, ai vincoli normativi e ai contratti di lavoro;

    Serial Test Manager/ T&C Line Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Systematic & Efficient handing over of trains from Manufacturing to Testing
    • Manage the Testing Teams on Site
    • To deliver train and documents in accordance with the QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) commitments and customer requirements

    MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

    • Performance measurement:
    • CONQ (Cost of Non Quality) (internal & external)
    • Customer acceptance before commissioning
    • EHS (E nvironment, H ealth, S afety): Zero Fatality and Severe Injuries
    • Productivity
    • Lead Time & Spent Time
    • Responsibilities:
    • Participate in defining clear and exhaustive Train Acceptance Criteria at the time of handing over from Manufacturing.
    • Ensure that EPU Managers and their teams understand the Acceptance Criteria.
    • Ensure deployment of correct and efficient Handing Over procedure by EPU Manager & test technicians.
    • Involve all the right actors as Industrial Quality, PIM, PrTCM (Project T&C Manager), PrQSM to orient the right decisions.
    • Participate & Support in Handing Over of critical trains/projects (typically first and last train).
    • Handle escalations when necessary.
    • Have a clear overview of the test planning of all the projects in the site to ensure it is aligned with site testing capacity/facility and escalate to the management when necessary.
    • Organize weekly review with the EPU Managers on testing KPI’s (QCD) and take actions on critical issues.
    • Monitor and regularly update management & key interfaces about the progress on KPI’S of each project to reach the target QCD.
    • Based on KPI review, follow up on Open points and Improvement actions with the Testing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.
    • Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with: PrTCM, Chief Operation, TVE, PIM, Industrial Quality, Production Line Manager, PrWM, PrQSM to achieve the testing KPI’s.
    • Provides testing teams with the right procedures, tools and facilities.
    • Ensure that test reports are clearly documented, up to date and on time.
    • Ensure that trains are fully tested and complete before delivery and in case of deviations (key missing parts) take appropriate actions.
    • Manage and Forecast the testing workload and adapt capacity accordingly.
    • Manage competencies: through identification of critical competencies and ensure right trainings are delivered.
    • Communicate and cascade information to the site testing teams.
    • Manage conflicts and disputes within the department.
    • Ensures T&C activities and operating areas comply with Site EHS requirements including TTO.
    • Reports Deviations, Near-misses and Accidents.
    • Demonstrates excellent EHS behavior.
    • Accountable for EHS Compliance within the test area.

    MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

    Educational Requirements

    Mandatory:

    • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent

    Desirable:

    • Scholarship dedicated in Railway industry

    Experience

    Mandatory:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications & network systems within process industry, railways or factory automation and minimum 2 years’ experience in Test Engineering (T&C Methods)
    • Fluent in English language

    Desirable:

    • Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements

    Competencies & Skills:

    • Have a good understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (in particular earthing & bonding, cabling, protection and instrumentation, …)
    • Strong leadership; result-driven mindset
    • Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (product engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial functions…)
    • Ability for negotiation, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
    • Ability to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
    • Team spirit approach and good communication skills

    We are looking for someone who leverages in-depth industry knowledge of the business environment and various technical solutions to assist the customer to gain market share and increase operational efficiencies. You will provide technical and consultative leadership for Consulting technical solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements, focused on an industry or service offering.

    Responsibilities

    • To provide technical and consultative services on NetWitness solutions on a range of complex consulting engagement projects.
    • These projects may include conducting workshops, analyzing requirements, developing solution design and recommendations, documentation, and delivering training of NetWitness solutions for the customer.
    • Works closely with project managers (or acts as project manager), other personnel, and the customer to ensure a smooth project implementation and transition from start to completion.
    • Delivers services both independently as well as in a team environment, working closely with NetWitness sales, other personnel, and clients.
    • Works on complex projects and manages multiple work streams. Defines and authors deliverables. Delivers projects with approved methodology while adhering to margin, planning, and SOW requirements.
    • Leads project quality assurance activities, including technical QA reviews. Understands and adheres to proper escalation and change control procedures. Validates requirements, limited prototyping and functionality design and creates proposals that address current and evolving client requirements.
    • May manage or function as technical lead on small to medium projects or workstreams of larger, more complex projects. Understands customer business challenges and provides strategy that addresses long term goals. Independently analyzes large amounts of data, provides logical options, create and delivers correct documentation, sound work products and deliverables to achieve customer satisfaction.
    • Prepares, maintains and submits activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures. Keeps stakeholders informed of activities and issues promptly. Completes end-of-project reports. Provides knowledge transfer and training throughout and at the completion of assigned projects.
    • Prepares detailed project plans of an engagement within the standards of project management methodologies. Reviews and validates statement of work (SOW). Categorizes requirements into a project

    Technical Responsibilities

    • Work with customers to better enabletheir ability to hunt for and detectthreats.
    • Track threat actors and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
    • Hunt for and identify threat actor groupsand their techniques, tools, and processes.
    • Provide input on cybersecurity best practices, especially as pertains to threat intel, threat hunting, and using/incorporating Network (NDR), Endpoint (EDR), and Log (SIEM) analysis.
    • Develop detection content and use cases within the NetWitness product for Network full packet capture, EDR, SOAR, and SIEM.
    • Develop advanced queriesand alerts to detect adversary actions.
    • Develop dashboards and reports to identify potential threats, suspicious/anomalous activity, malware, etc.
    • Assess customer gaps in visibility and provide next-step recommendations.
    • Assist customers to increase visibility and detection capability, working in synergy with incident response team members and providing expert advice about how to investigate potential attacks.
    • Help with sales project scoping,provide guidance to sales/clients.
    • Guide and contribute in technical NetWitness course development.
    • Assist in development of knowledge checks and technicalassessments.
    • Participate in lab and contentQA.
    • Maintain Instructor documentation, illustrations, notes, questions, presentation/topic order, tips & tricks for future instructors under existing documentation.
    • Assisting in gatheringand building the lab use-cases.
    • Assist with lab deployments/upgrades, particularly for lab images,class environments.
    • Deliver or help in creatingat least one webinar every 6 months.
    • Participate in publiccustomer training events (based on business need).

    Required Experience/Qualifications:

    • Ability to understand logging mechanisms for industry standardnetwork, security solutions, servers, and databases.
    • Good understanding of networking/Security infrastructure.
    • Ability to detail out data flow in a given topology.
    • Strong communication skills,i.e., verbal, written,listening, and presentation.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in understanding key difference betweenlogs, events, packets,and incidents.
    • In-depth knowledge on collection methodology such as Syslog,SNMP, ODBC, LEA, FTP, SFTP.
    • Knowledge on various threats, security trends,security policy in the industry.
    • Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional Level English speaking and writing.
    • Federal security clearance can be an added advantage.
