JOB TITLE : Head of Performance Marketing

CONTRACT TYPE : Permanent, Full Time

WeRoad is entering a new phase of ambitious international growth, and we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Performance Marketing to lead this expansion. You will architect and scale a high-impact, full-funnel performance marketing function spanning multiple European markets with a strong focus on complex purchase journeys and long decision cycles.

You will manage significant budgets, define channel and investment strategies, work on measurement frameworks such as Attribution Modelling and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), and ensure the team and tools are primed for constant testing, learning, and scaling.

This is a role for a strategic and technical leader who balances hands-on execution with big-picture growth impact.

What you'll do :

Strategic ownership & budget leadership

Own the global performance marketing strategy across all digital channels : Meta, Google, TikTok, Display, Programmatic, and Affiliation

Develop annual and quarterly budget plans, investment scenarios, and market-by-market breakdowns that maximize ROI and drive sustainable customer acquisition growth

Oversee weekly trading, proactively reallocating budgets across markets and funnel stages based on real-time performance and learning curves

Lead campaign planning and execution to ensure CAC targets are met, and the right bidding and targeting strategies are deployed consistently

Develop and execute audience strategies using first-party data and CDP capabilities for smarter targeting, suppression, and personalization

Performance measurement & modelling

Integrate, and refine measurement frameworks, combining attribution models with Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and incrementality testing to track true impact in a long-funnel environment

Build automated dashboards and actionable performance insights to inform investment decisions and communicate results clearly to stakeholders at weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.

Focus on key initiatives such as bidding elasticity, new customer acquisition efficiency, incremental value and de-risk budget allocation.

Team leadership & cross-functional collaboration

Structure and lead the in-house performance marketing team capable of executing, testing, analysing, and scaling campaigns in multiple markets.

Foster strong collaboration with WeRoad’s central Growth Team (Martech, Data, CRM) to secure dependencies, align backlogs, and prioritize impactful initiatives.

Advocate for data-driven creative development and ensure close alignment with Brand and Creative Ops to produce, test, and scale high-performing static and video ad assets.

Cultivate a fast-paced, ownership-driven operating culture where experimentation, agility, and shared learning fuel continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise :

Evaluate technical solutions, including bidding tools, automation scripts, audience management systems, and creative feed management.

Leverage platform AI features and third-party tools to automate campaign workflows, bidding optimizations, audience targeting, and reporting pipelines.

What we’re looking for :

Extensive Performance Marketing Expertise :

Proven track record managing large performance marketing budgets (20+ M€) across multiple markets and channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic, affiliation)

Deep knowledge of advanced bidding strategies, audience targeting, and platform-specific optimizations

Pragmatic, hands-on in strategic intiatives and unafraid to dive deep into the data or the bidding platform when needed

Measurement & Analytics Mastery :

Expert in performance measurement : attribution modelling, MMM, incrementality testing, and marketing effectiveness frameworks

Background in technical / analytics / statistics is a plus, with hands-on proficiency in SQL, spreadsheets and automation tools.

Significant experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing multi-channel performance marketing teams

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially in coordinating with Brand, Creative, Growth & Data, and Product stakeholders

Strategic Mindset & Operational Excellence :

Strong financial acumen for budget allocation, forecasting, and ROI modelling

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, data-rich environments and manage campaigns for products with long consideration cycles.

Obsessive about testing, learning, and optimizing
