La tua missione?

  • Collaborare con il Direttore Operativo e i Coordinatori di Produzione per definire gli obiettivi di produzione e le fasi produttive;

We are looking for a Production Manager , who will be based in Aliaxis Zola Predosa (BO) and will report to the Manufacturing Director of the site.

This figure will be in charge of managing and organizing the manufacturing process in compliance with production standards and demand, granting production effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety regulation and Aliaxis Global standards.

The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows

  • Ensure the compliance with the safety rules and promote improvement actions, if needed.
  • Manage the planning and the organization of production according to the demand, granting the fulfillment and the observance of the production targets.
  • Guarantee the compliance with the quality and production standards.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing process.
  • Guarantee the operation and the efficiency of the machinery and equipment inventory.
  • Control the department performances promoting improvement actions

  • Supervise the training for the new staff recruited and general skills in view of a constant improvement and increase in flexibility of the manpower.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

  • At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role or in a managerial position in Operations in a manufacturing company is required.
  • Experience in plastic molding processes is considered a plus.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • A strong leadership and decision-making approach is fundamental for the role.
  • Experience in staff management and a good team-working attitude is pivotal.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and empathically with different levels of the organization is an important soft skill.
  • Problem-solving skills and the knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies are necessary to support the development of the plant.
  • Solid expertise in the management of capital-intensive and labor-intensive processes is required.

Position: Production Manager – Reggio Emilia location. Reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the Operations Team, managing the entire production process to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. Total people managed: >30.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and inspire the production team, promoting a synergic and goal-oriented work environment.
  • Control and optimize resources, promoting improvements in individual production processes.
  • Take responsibility for results and key performance indicators (KPIs), respecting overall efficiency levels, as well as quality and service levels.
  • DOS for Work Place Organization.
  • Critically read the scorecard indicators regarding safety, productivity and quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: University master's degree - Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional background: At least 3-5 years' experience in similar roles (Production Manager), preferably in the metalworking sector, in a multinational context.
  • Hard skills:
    • Knowledge and application of Safety and Health management systems.
    • Advanced knowledge of Production Management processes.
    • Knowledge of and contribution to Plant Annual AOP and Rolling Forecast definition (Headcount).
    • Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • English – minimum level B2.
    • Considered a plus: SAP (Modulo PP) - SAP PDC system; Knowledge of Maintenance Process Management.
  • Soft skills:
