Arkage is looking for an extracurricular Visual Designer intern (RM)

• Design of graphic content for international brands
• Delivery of creative campaigns for international brands

You'll have to be inspired, curious, imaginative and show your creativity on multiple projects. You must be able to work in a structured team. Real content and information will be at the core of the designs you produce. The role

We are looking for a talented Lead Visual Designer to join our newly created User Experience team and help establish UCD within a division of the organization. We are looking for someone who is an expert in visual design and enjoys creating the UI for complex B2B products.

This position is for a full-time, permanent contract.

What you’ll be doing

1. Creating pixel perfect UI and visual designs for complex products
2. Raising the level of craft and finish in all delivered design solutions
3. Collaborating with UX Architects to propose the future experience of our products
4. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Engineers to ensure visual design is a part of the product design process
5. Contributing to and evolving our Design System
6. Helping ensure designs meet accessibility standards
7. Communicating/presenting the rationale behind your design decisions internally and to stakeholders
8. Producing detailed documentation for delivering designs to developers
9. Collaborating with developers and engineers to ensure an efficient build that adheres to the visual design specifications
10. Staying on top of new ideas and best practice in UI design to keep improving the team’s work
11. Helping establish an inclusive, collaborative, and creative team culture

What we are looking for

1. Visual design expertise with strong abilities in typography, colour, layout and hierarchy
2. 8+ years experience in visual design

• Design and optimize customer experiences across digital touchpoints, focusing on improving key business KPIs.
• Map and analyze complex customer journeys, identifying high-impact friction points and opportunities.
• Work closely with product owners, performance marketers, and CRM teams to co-design features and flows.
• Support your design choices with clear rationale and performance data (e.g. reducing drop-off).
