**Job description**
Our Summer Internship Programme is an eight-week internship taking place June through August.
This programme is designed to provide students with a challenging, meaningful and supportive internship experience that replicates, as closely as possible, the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst. The programme begins with an orientation that offers a thorough overview of the firm and the opportunity to hear from a number of senior leaders.
Following orientation, interns receive on-the-job training and are given day-to-day responsibilities to contribute to their teams throughout the summer. Programming also features a speaker series, mentoring and various networking opportunities, including activities with our employee networks.

**Who can apply:** Candidates should be in their penultimate year of studies and graduating from an undergraduate or a master's

**Job Overview**
Jensen Hughes has a career opportunity for a passionate Associate Fire Protection Engineer in Milan, Italy in 2025. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and knowledge in fire life safety projects and permitting process with the National Fire Brigade. The Engineer will work alongside leading fire safety professionals as peers and mentors.
**Responsibilities**
The Associate Fire Protection Engineer, after the initial training which will be centred on study and application of the fire prevention permitting legislation with particular focus on the Fire Prevention Code, will be included in the Fire Prevention team, dealing with:
+ Application of the national and international regulations and standards on Fire and Life Safety in the various areas of corporate interest (civil, commercial and industrial).
+ Team work on specific Fire Prevention projects: drawing up of drawings and technical reports according to company templates.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering (as a reference Civil, Construction, Chemical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Nuclear, Environmental engineering).
+ Italian language fluency, written and spoken is essential. Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken is desired.
+ Willingness to travel, often with overnight stays.
+ Excellent knowledge of MS Office and 2D AutoCAD and 3D BIM.
+ The possession of registration on the lists of the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to law 818/84, although recent, is not mandatory but will be considered as a preferential skill.
+ Passion for the study of scientific subjects.

**Responsibilities**
+ In this role you will both manage the project and lead the project technically, managing all aspects related to fire risk.
+ Manage external client and stakeholders, as well as internal staff to complete work on-time and within budget, including interfacing with teams working on other programs/projects in the location.
+ Coordinate design and construction activities with the clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
+ Oversee interdisciplinary teams and provide review and guidance to project team during development of project deliverables.
+ Taking control of current and future projects and ensuring that financial targets of the team are met and exceeded, develop existing relationships with key clients and deliver fire safety engineering solutions.
+ Drive behind the delivery of technical excellence, team engagement, and the go-to in developing their key clients in this discipline.
+ Be the expert to our clients and become the all-important first point of call Lead discussion with design team, building control and fire service.
+ Attend industry conferences to network and embrace industry trends and best practices.
+ Supervise and train graduate engineers.
+ Application of national and international legislation and standards on Fire and Life Safety in the various areas of corporate interest (civil, commercial and industrial)
+ Project Review, Codes Consultancy.
+ Field inspections and testing (Europe).
+ Advice and promotion of fire safety science.
+ Application of risk analysis models.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
+ A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment, with a specific focus on fire protection systems design.
+ A bachelor's degree or higher within any engineering specialties, e.g. civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical.
+ The ability to undertake works independently.
+ The ability and experience mentoring and managing junior professionals.
+ Italian language fluency, written and spoken is preferred. Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken is desired.
+ Willingness to make short but frequent national and European trips (at full capacity, 2-3 days every 1-2 weeks).
+ Excellent knowledge of MS Office and AUTOCAD/BIM.
+ Passion for the study of scientific subjects.
+ The possession of registration on the lists of the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to Law 818/84 is not mandatory but will be considered as a preferential skill.
+ The profile is completed by proactivity, operational autonomy, empathy and aptitude for contact with the customer.

RUOLO
Il magazziniere, a diretto riporto del Management team del negozio, avrà il compito di gestire Il flusso della merce in store, supportando i Sales Assistant nel rifornimento dei prodotti sul piano vendita al fine di massimizzare le vendite e allestire lo stoccaggio dei prodotti nel modo più funzionale.
RESPONSABILITA'
- Spedire e ricevere correttamente i prodotti e le forniture
- Tracciare le spedizioni e coordinare i trasferimenti interni delle scorte, nonché risolvere gli eventuali ritardi
- Controllare il quantitativo e la qualità della merce in entrata
- Elaborare e distribuire le fatture nei tempi previsti
- Distribuire i prodotti all'interno del piano vendita e gestire i resi in modo da garantire che l'intera gamma di taglie sia presente.
REQUISITI
- Precedente esperienza nel ruolo in contesti retail
- Dinamismo, pro-attività e spiccate doti operative e organizzative
- Ottima attitudine all'utilizzo di strumenti informatici
